LOL so true dude, so many teams tried that all black look for the late 90's early 00's to look "intimidating".These 49ers uniforms look like an atlanta falcons spin off minus the helmet. Their gold helmet totally clashes with the black and red threads. Maybe they can win a championship now with those new threads? Lol this may be the second worst move since firing harbaugh.

If any team wants to learn, Apparently one of the factors why DALLAS wears WHITE all the time is because WHITE does not soak up the Sun's Heat

Yup makes total sense to wear all black in the hot California sun in an open air stadium. As to why they want to wear black....they want to be like their bay area counterparts the Raiders. Commitment to mediocrity (or worse)..fire a good head coach then suck for a couple of years and redo the hire/firing of a coach all over again.

I would have been impressed with a gold uniform using red with white highlighted numbers/names/stripes.
As the uniforms stands... I'm thinking imitation Atlanta.



This helmet would work well with the gold uni. It does not work as well with black uniforms.
