I don't see it. Cassel should go be a backup elsewhere. Why sign a #2 QB when you have Kolb, who at the worst is a #2QB?
Bottom line: Cards need a #1QB. They don't need to stockpile #2s.

I can see it happening. Kolb, a member of the failed regime, gets cut and Cassel comes in as a place-holder until a franchise QB can be found in the draft, which is unlikely to happen in this time around.

Teams sure like QBs bouncing around. Last year it was Kolb, Skelton, Lindley, Hoyer. Watch 3 new QBs play next year.

Hey, you never know, Matt Flynn (Wow, it's been one year since he was first considered a franchise QB. Time really does fly....) might somehow wind up in 'zona. Crazier things have happened.

I see him ending in either Arizona, Cleveland, or Buffalo. Not sure if Minnesota would consider him but I think he'd be a good fit there.

I think Minnesota will stick with Ponder. I don't think he's as bad as people suggest.

The Vikings are going into 2013 will Ponder for sure the starting QB. Leslie Fraizer said he didn't want to bring in a QB to push him.
However, they want to bring in a QB to push Joe Webb out of the #2 spot. They have reportedly talked to Matt Moore and Tyler Thigpen.
In my opinion, I'd take any of them, Matt Cassel too. All as backups.

Yeah, I think Webb is done. Barring a desperate Arizona, I think Cassel could very well end up on any team as a backup, including the Vikings.

I've heard that Webb could get traded for a 6th round pick. I see that impossible, but who knows...
I would be fine with Ponder, Cassel, and Bethel-Thomsen.
