In all-madden I've probably returned about 5 kicks for Td's but never any punts... matter of fact I've never returned a punt more than 21yds on all-madden!

lol I've actually saved replays of punt returns about that long thinking it was some sort of record for me.

Madden '08 PC is the Madden '12 for the PS2: The last game made; the sequel that was forced. Madden '07 is one of the best Maddens made. The only thing I can say is that Madden 07's lighting irritaes me. It's too dark.

i will certainly check this out. Somebody converted the mod so that's fun.
I assume draft classes made for Madden 08 work?

I believe, along with the other stuff noted in my conversion thread, that draft classes did work with madden amp or nza's editor. Although I am just now going to re-start an 07 franchise on pc so maybe I'll encounter it and see.
How is everyone else doing with the modded mod? :)

I have gotten draft classes to work, and I use NZA's editor. Far as which I prefer, I've always gravitated towards 2007. I think part of is that there is (as noted numerous times before) a smoother feel gameplay-wise. I also really didn't care for the analog kick at all. Another thing I didn't care for in 2008 was what seemed like an over-abundance of player roles Personally, I preferred the less cluttered player role version used in 2007 and earlier, the amount of roles in 2008 just annoyed me.

I just tried madden 7 the last few months ill never play madden 8 again. I for some reason perfer the graphics in 7 which most wouldn't say I like the whiter background. It seem to run smoother for me also. Madden 8 seems to have been put together quick in my opinion. Ive had far less issues with 7 when it come to editing things like stadiums and rosters. Also more realistic game play I don't like the kicking but I just change my accuracy to 99 on kicking and punting lol. I still miss. =(. My new card seem to run madden 7 with a good picture so fine for me. good lions they won!~
