Here's what I have attached:
db_templates.dat for use with 07 that will let you play the mod (don't use the one the mod comes with, just put this one in 07's my documents folder instead.)
Important, only use these other files from the mod (no need to modify from the mod
):uniforms.dat
loaddata.dat
moviedat.dat
StreamedData.db
US_LIB_ADPLACEHOLDERS.dat
US_LIB_FE_BACKGROUNDS.dat
UIS_LOAD.dat
The other files and features they provide don't seem stable as-is.
Here is what I did to make db_templates work:
Started with the madden 2007 db_templates.dat as a base.
I *inserted* specific things into it FROM the db_templates.dat from the mod:
Fixed uniforms by copying file 6/tuni into the 07 dat.
Fixed uniforms by copying file 6/team into the 07 dat.
Fixed uniforms by copying file 12/unif into the 07 dat.
Fixed salary cap in franchise by copying file 4/slri table into the 07 dat.
Fixed depth charts by copying file 6/dcht into the 07 dat.
Fixed schedule by copying file 8/schd into the 07 dat.
Fixed roster by copying file 6/play into the 07 dat [I actually had to save to CSV first and changed player roles to ALL 31 (for NO role, didn't have time to use the role conversion list but one could) and changed portraits (PSXP) to 0 for cartoon portraits)]
Fixed positional requirements by copying file 12/drps into the 07 dat.
Franchise seems to work, everything else seems to work with the following issues:

When it gets to the pro bowl the schedule says extra fa 2 vs afc so i simmed it and it played fine. Box score showed frank gore playing for extra fa 2 so maybe its just some weird team name issue. help??
Can anyone else help with the other dats that I didn't list above or attach?

UPDATE: I found that, during franchise mode, sometimes the crowd would go silent. So, I have had to remove sounddat.dat from the 08 mod from my 07 documents folder as well and now all seems well.
