Team Salary not updating in Rosters

My game is not crashing, but I can't get the Team Salary totals to change when editing my roster file. Been editing several player's salaries but the teams salaries remain the same. Is there a way to update the team salary somehow? I've been able to do this in Franchise several times, no trouble whatsoever (using the NZA 1.3) but no luck so far when trying to do the same in Roster. Any clues?
