trying to use calhoupe's scripts

So I finally thought I was getting all my technical problems with Madden then the penalty glitch happens and I try to fix it by running calhoupe's scripts but for some reason whenever I run madden with the scripts I can't get past the main menu it will just crash as soon as I hit something.

I was wondering if there's something I could do about this. I replaced the mainapp in the program files but im thinking I may have accidently messed with one of the launch.dat in the files.

Any help would be appreciated thanks in advance.

Does the game do the same thing without running the scripts? if so then its a cpu problem....... try troubleshooting compatabilty or reinstalling the game if you think you corrupted a file

No the game works perfectly without the scripts except for the penalty crash ofc.

Can you post a screenshot of your script program, or write a list of all the scripts you have active?

This is what I would use if they were working, but since they weren't working I was just seeing if it would work with the default ones that are turned on.

I haven't found a scripts combo that works with my game yet, but i've done everything correctly as Calhouope's directions said and haven't seen the same problem for other people from what i've seen.

Disable Speed Up Superstar Ggames and see if that helps. If not, try also turning off End Zone Camera and Immediate Access to Kicking at the same time as the speed up option. If it doesn't work with all of those disabled, I will send you the script file that I use and ask you to try it with them. I can confirm the ones I use work pretty consistently.

I made both of your changes and both got me farther into the game until it would eventually crash but sometimes not only would it crash the screen on the team select would move around all funny.

Here. Try to use these scripts and tell me what happens. If it crashes again, provide as much detail as you possibly can. When in the game did it happen? What were the exact circumstances of the play on which the game crashed? Was it during a play or between plays? Literally any detail you can think of.

I tried using yours and it crashed Calhoupe's scripts app when loading them then I brought Calhoupe's scripts app back up again and they were in. When I started the game however, it ran up like normal until it got to the start screen then kicked me to my desktop had a large black madden08 window open that I couldn't do anything with. Then it crashed.

Have you checked to make sure it's not a roster issue? Have you tried uninstalling and reinstalling any mods you might have?
