Help With XBOX 360 Controller

Hey guys, I just got Madden 08 for my Mac with all the controller drivers installed. When I go to change the controller from keyboard to the Xbox 360 controller, I get a popup that reads "Cannot Change the Assignment for this entry." At first, I thought it was because I had a 3rd part XBOX controller, so I bought a legitimate one from Microsoft and the problem persists. Any help with this would be much appreciated.
