Cannot continue game

I have Madden 08 with the the 2013 update.
A couple times now while I am playing I can't play the game. I mean I am in the game but I can't play me team. The screen where it say's Play, Simulate. I hit play, nothing. I hit simulate week, all the other games are simulated except mine.
So I exit game, same thing.
Any one else have this problem?

Did you follow the Basic Troubleshooting Checklist?

Also, you should really be using the latest FF/FI Mod. It has (probably) the most bug-free experience in a while.
