Weird Textures in Create-a-Team? +1 More Question.

Hey guys,

This issue has been prevalent for me ever since I installed FF/FI XIV a few months ago. I do like playing with my own custom teams in franchise mode, but designing uniforms is a HUGE hassle because the textures are all messed up and I have to make a preliminary design and then exit, go to practice, see how it actually looks, go back and edit, and keep doing that until I'm satisfied.

Is there any way to fix this?

And another question, is there a way to edit the amount of money your franchise has? I'm sort of in debt in my franchise, and I would really like to be able to relocate and/or build my team a new stadium for them to play in.

1. It's because the Uniforms have a different texture than the default uniforms do. Since it is custom, there is no way to fix this. Just create the team without the mod, then install the mod back in when it is done. The uniforms only look like this until you put it in Exhibition than it's fine.

I'd recommend you make your own FFXIV folder in the My Documents\Madden NFL 08 and moving them their.

I think you use a DB_Editor.

Rename the UNIFORMS.dat in the "My Documents/Madden NFL 08" to UNIFORMS.tmp

Run Madden and create your teams.

Exit madden.

Then rename the UNIFORMS.tmp back UNIFORMS.dat.

Oh I was talking about the DB editor... I figured out the uniforms thing.

If the uniforms look the way you edited them in a game then it worked. Once you rename the UNIFORMS.dat back, you're uniforms will look funky because of the higher sized uniform used as a template. (Patriots).
