Basic Troubleshooting Checklist (Madden NFL 08)

I just installed Madden 08. Every time I go to create a team and select Uniform, the game crashes. I have no updates installed.

I installed Madden 08 using PowerIso. This had no problems; however, I use a mainapp outside of the iso file to start up the game.

Is the ISO mounted when you do this?

While creating teams, I generally recommend doing it without the FF/FI Mod installed. Try temporarily removing the FF/FI Mod's files, creating your team, and then putting the mod files back in.

If you continue to have issues, I would suggest trying some things like using calhoupe's scripts to launch the game and updating your graphics drivers. If you do all of that and it still doesn't fix it, you may want to uninstall and reinstall the game.

However, the mainapp.exe that came with the torrent will start the game up, and that's located where the torrent was downloaded (E:\Torrents\Madden.NFL.08\Keygen & Crack).

Also, is there a discord, where I can talk to someone over voice chat? I would be able to do this much faster, if I could talk to someone.

Yeah, we can't support copies of the game downloaded via torrent, despite it being very hard to legally acquire the game now.

Hey, KSIhasbirddog, I'm sure you can figure it out! I run madden 08 off of my iso also using the No-CD Mainapp,exe to preserve my cd/dvd! It works fine! I can tell you the original files don't work because they are looking for the physical CD/DVD that use SecuROM CD/DVD copy protection and digital rights management (DRM) aimed to prevent unauthorized copying and reverse engineering of software, primarily commercial computer games running on Microsoft Windows. You really answered your own question with your statement of install location(s)!

The old saying, Insert Tab-B into Slot-A or something like that comes to mind!
