Is Madden 18 going to be released on PC?

Okay, this topic has probably already circulated on this site but I can't seem to find a concrete answer anywhere on the internet.

What's the final word though: is Madden 18 going to be released for PC?

I see all of these articles that say it will be but there's just such a lack of hype from the online community that I'm skeptical.

Writers there often have issues with stuff like that. The only source that you can fully trust is the EA website, and it is available for purchase on Playstation and Xbox. If it were on PC, you would also be able to order it on Origin. You cannot. The game comes out in a month. If it were coming out on PC, it'd be purchasable by now.

Does't feel any different to me. They don't care about PC users for sports games. FIFA is only PC because of the international market. And didn't they switch to Frostbite for Madden last year?

Very true. I was digging around and found another really good point made on a Game Informer forum:

"I know Peter Moore (CCO) was always against it, I think multiple times he cited piracy is one of the main issues he didn't want to do it. He left the company I think in February of this year and now with frostbite you'd have to think it would be easier to port. Last year I know Amazon listed 17 as coming out on pc and caused a stir, you'd think a dedicated gaming site would b less apt to make a listing error, but if I had to guess I would think this was a mistake, but man I hope it's real"

What have you heard?

Rex Dickson (Creative Director of Madden), confirmed that you will not be able to customize your character in the Longshot story mode. You will also only be able to be the Quarterback in the story mode as well. All players will start for the Texas Longhorns, and will then proceed into the NFL.
He made it clear that this is not the "Career Mode." But instead, it's the "Cinematic Story Mode." You will still be able to create your player, and pick your position in the franchise mode. The game is also not being released on PC.

What's next, Madden NFL RPG??
Well, I guess american football is sort of designed as a natural "turn by turn" combat system. Perhaps a Madden RPG isn't so far fetched. - LOL
