"Madden NFL 16 is expected to arrive for PC"

I thought this would interest all of us waiting for EA to bring Madden back to the most glorious gaming platform. Add to this the speculations surrounding Joe Montana Football, and the PC is very likely to get a modern, quality football game this year.

Besides, the Ignite Engine that "couldn't run on PCs" is running without complaint for practically every PC gamer who bought FIFA 15.

It's about dang time, EA.

I wonder how much of what has been learned about modding Madden 08 would carry over into Madden 16. With such a long gap between PC versions, I suspect there will be a lot of starting over. Good news all the same.

There's already bull crap in that article. They said the game would not be released for last gen consoles, and EA Sports doesn't give a flying crap about PC users. It's not happening.

As far as I can tell, right now we who run the XV mod are running the absolute best NFL football simulation available on any platform.
All of the versions of MADDEN are basically the same since 2008, there have been no big changes.
The non dependence on EA to use the internet to play a game is what sets FF-FIXV apart from the rest.

It isn't offered through any of EA's sources, so yeah, it ain't happening. I thought we finally got over these "random site says PC 'might' happen, so it must be happening" frenzies three years ago.

I hope the same is true for Mr. Madden.
Many will disagree with this, but another cool thing about the FF-FIXV mod is hearing John's comments.
The newer versions have expanded the newer commentator's role in the simulation,
but that change has not improved the football playing experience one iota.
Long live John Madden, because otherwise it would be kind of sad playing this.

I'm thinking about naming my next 2D football simulation Jonah Manntana GFL 18.
Is that catchy enough?
