Week 12 Highlights
This is Thanksgiving week, and the Cowboys-Jets game provided national viewers a battle of field position, and in one of the best special teams plays you'll see, down by a point in the 4th quarter, Jets kicker Jim Turner faked his way into a pooch punt that rolled and stopped exactly in front of the goal line. That set up Gerry Philbin to take Don Meredith down in the end zone for the go-ahead safety. Then, with the immediate possession, New York could milk the clock and add on a Turner field goal to secure a 18-14 victory over Dallas. On offense, it's worth highlighting Don Maynard continuing to be a veteran lifesaver, hauling in 12 catches for 144 yards today.
The primetime Thanksgiving game pitted the Oilers against the Falcons, and the country learned who Morris Stroud is today. Here you see the behemoth tight end pinning the football to his shoulder for his 2nd of 3 receiving TDs, all in the first half. This is his second 3-TD game of the season and he is at 10 TD overall, impressive for a rookie tight end. The Oilers keep up for a while but Atlanta pulls away in the 3rd quarter and the Falcons defeat Houston 31-23. While Stroud dominated on offense, Tommy Nobis continues to build his DPOY campaign with 13 total tackles, 2 for a loss.
Moving on to Sunday's slate, the biggest headline is this 65-yard touchdown catch by Art Powell over Chiefs cornerback Emmitt Thomas. This simultaneously set two records: Powell's 100th career receiving TD moved him past HOFer Don Hutson for the all-time receiving TD mark, and he also crossed Raymond Berry's receiving yard mark (Powell will now be chasing Lionel Taylor who got past Berry first.)
The milestone would be hollow if Oakland didn't escape Kansas City with the win, and they needed overtime to figure that out but Daryle Lamonica secured it with a TD pass to Billy Masters, and so the final score was Raiders 29, Chiefs 23 (OT). In addition to Powell, the Raiders offense was propelled by Larry Brown's 150+ yards from scrimmage and a score. Kansas City's defense did their best to keep this game in hand, with 2 interceptions by the aforementioned Emmitt Thomas, and 3 sacks by Aaron Brown.
On the very first play from scrimmage, Seattle's Larry Garron spins past Willie West and shakes off Pete Jaquess en route to a 77-yard touchdown run. And that sets the tone for a trackmeet at the Kingdome, which the Seahawks survive 52-42. Garron finishes the day with over 200 yards from scrimmage and 2 TDs. It's shocking that this happened at all, given Dolphins starting QB Dick Wood got knocked out of the game early, but George Wilson Jr. was raring to go, throwing 5 TD passes in the loss.
Other Week 12 Results
Green Bay Packers 37, Detroit Lions 34. This was the early Thanksgiving game and it delivered in its own right, with some big hits and a late comeback attempt by the home team that fell just short. Bart Starr threw for over 300 yards in spite of being knocked around all day, and Bill Munson threw 3 TD passes for Detroit.
Orlando Jaguars 30, Buffalo Bills 23. Pete Beathard throws it all around the yard for 356 yards against the visiting Bills defense. They do manage to mostly lock up usual Jags sparkplug Floyd Little, but he performs where it counts, converting a key 3rd down in the waning minutes to prevent Buffalo from having a chance at a game-tying drive. Lineman Rex Mirich had a sack and an interception for Orlando's defensive effort.
San Francisco 49ers 42, New Orleans Saints 35. San Francisco exploded for a 28-point 1st quarter and never relinquished the lead despite a late New Orleans surge. Tight end Jim Cox got a lot of use in the red zone, with 3 TDs on just 21 yards. And as always, Ken Willard dominates most defenses like today, where he finishes with 172 rushing yards and 2 TDs.
Minnesota Vikings 38, New York Giants 21. The Purple People Eaters are happy to give old friend Fran Tarkenton some medicine, as they combine to sack him 5 times. Ben Wilcox is in for an injured Ernie Koy at punter and he gets blocked by Minnesota's usual kickoff returner Billy Thompson. New York's Calvin Hill still has a 100-yard day despite the loss.
Tennessee Titans 24, Cleveland Browns 14. The Browns are on a bad slide, losing their 3rd straight and getting upset by the visiting Titans. Tennessee rookie Joe Taylor has a fine day at cornerback with a forced fumble and an interception.
Denver Broncos 14, Chicago Bears 10. The lake effect was strong in Chicago as a thick fog covered the field for most of this game. Denver did not score until the 2nd half but they barely got enough to win. Lonnie Wright led the Broncos with 7 tackles, forced a fumble and intercepted a pass.
St. Louis Cardinals 13, Birmingham Ravens 10. Al Woodall was having an awful game, 2/11 with 2 picks, before being injured, and Max Choboian came in to turn it around for St. Louis. The constant was Johnny Roland, who toted the rock 30 times for 153 yards.
Pittsburgh Steelers 27, Baltimore Colts 16. The Steelers turn it on in the 4th quarter with 17 unanswered points. Colts rookie Fred Dryer gets another 2 sacks and reaches double digits in his first NFL season.
Cincinnati Bengals 27, San Diego Chargers 22. Jim Beirne has been hot and cold this season, but the southern California air gets him warmed up as he goes for 156 receiving yards and a TD in the Bengals victory.
Washington Redskins 20, Tampa Bay Buccaneers 16. It's an ugly win, but Washington remains at the top of the conference. Sonny Jurgensen only completes 8 passes, but it helps when half of them go to Charley Taylor who can rack up the YAC.
Los Angeles Rams 26, Las Vegas Panthers 23.
Philadelphia Eagles 17, New England Patriots 14.

Week 13 Highlights
The Game of the Week happened to be the New Orleans Saints coming up to Philadelphia, hoping to snap a 5-game losing streak. And it was starting out well, as Joe Scarpati, former Eagle selected by New Orleans in the 1966 expansion draft, intercepted a pass to set up an early Saints touchdown. Bob Lee has a great day at QB, throwing 4 TD passes.
However, Philadelphia's offense has been potent this season and is able to keep pace with New Orleans, with Norm Snead throwing for over 400 yards. Paul Robinson rips off a well-timed 93-yard rushing TD in the 4th quarter that allows for the teams to finish regulation all tied up. And then as above pictured, Robinson hops over some Saints to get a key first down in opposing territory, setting up an eventual walk-off TD pass by Snead to Ben Hawkins. The Eagles defeat the Saints 40-34 (OT).
Other Week 13 Results
Buffalo Bills 38, Washington Redskins 28. Buffalo and Washington were temporarily NFC East rivals, and the rivalry remains alive as Buffalo attempts to derail Washington's run at the NFC #1 seed. Buffalo jumped out to a 21-point 1st quarter and didn't relinquish the lead. In the absence of Bobby Burnett, Ed Podolak slides right in and rushes for 104 yards and a TD. On the Washington side, Jerry Smith continues to be Sonny Jurgensen's go-to this year, hauling in 11 catches for 158 yards and 2 TDs.
Cleveland Browns 22, Seattle Seahawks 16. After Seattle and Jim Brown had their triumphant victory in Cleveland earlier this year, Cleveland returned the favor in their trip to the KingDome. Browns kicker Tom Dempsey seems to appreciate the dome as he goes 5-5 on field goals. Notably, Jim Brown does not get a carry in this game.
San Diego Chargers 31, Kansas City Chiefs 16. The Chargers make up some ground as the Chiefs drop their 2nd straight game. Lance Alworth is indefensible, as he takes 6 receptions for 195 yards and 2 TDs. It also helps that Speedy Duncan picks off Don Horn twice.
St. Louis Cardinals 33, Tampa Bay Buccaneers 30. The Bucs are losing their shot at a playoff appearance, as they are unable to slow down St. Louis' Johnny Roland who rushes for 140 yards. Tampa's Charlie Joiner does catch 2 touchdowns in the loss.
Tennessee Titans 37, Baltimore Colts 9. Without Johnny Unitas, the Colts are unable to get anything done as Tennessee defends their home turf mercilessly. Titans rookie O.J. Simpson records TD on the ground and as a catch. Joe Taylor, a dark horse candidate for Defensive Player of the Year, returns an interception 51 yards for a TD and finishes with 7 passes defensed in this game. He now has 7 INT and 31 PD this season.
Atlanta Falcons 32, San Francisco 49ers 27. MVP frontrunner John Brodie throws for over 400 yards but has his sloppiest day of the year, throwing 4 interceptions to the Falcons defense. Lee Calland gets 2 of those, and also forces a fumble in this game. Lou Kirouac's foot is busy for Atlanta, going 6-6 on field goals.
Chicago Bears 23, New York Giants 17. It's anyone's game in the NFC North and Chicago keeps themselves in the conversation with this win in Wrigley Field. The Bears defense gets the credit for forcing Fran Tarkenton into 3 interceptions and no TDs, which cancels out a usual Calvin Hill dominant performance of 177 rushing yards and 2 TDs.
Houston Oilers 23, Orlando Jaguars 22. At this point it's a lost season for Houston, but they upset divisional leader Orlando today with a 4th quarter comeback. Hoyle Granger rushes for 124 yards and a receiving TD, while Larry Csonka contributes with a 67-yard TD run. It ends up hurting that Orlando settles for 5 field goals by Curt Knight, 3 of them in the red zone.
Detroit Lions 33, Minnesota Vikings 16. Minnesota had a chance to pull away in the NFC North race, but Detroit stays in the hunt with the road victory. Joe Schmidt's halftime speech must have done something, as the Lions score 17 unanswered points in the 3rd quarter. Detroit's Dickie Post rushes for over 150 yards.
Oakland Raiders 30, Denver Broncos 25. The AFC West is a gauntlet this year, and Oakland squeezes by despite 3 interceptions by Broncos defenders. Larry Brown rushes for 102 yards and a TD.
New York Jets 33, Miami Dolphins 3. Miami's George Wilson Jr. is scattershot today, only completing 9 of 30 passes and getting sacked 7 times in this Jets steamrolling. The Jets have now won 4 in a row.
Dallas Cowboys 34, Green Bay Packers 20. Bob Hayes rips through the Green Bay defense for 156 receiving yards and 2 TDs. On defense, Chuck Howley records an interception and a sack.
New England Patriots 55, Cincinnati Bengals 13. In this battle of cellar-dwellers, the Pats just have the Bengals' number at every corner. Patriots safety Mike Barnes forces and returns a fumble 19 yards for a TD. In garbage time, Bengals rookie Greg Cook comes in and throws a TD pass to Buddy Dial.
Los Angeles Rams 46, Birmingham Ravens 13. At least the Birmingham audience gets a nice show as the Hollywood offense is firing on all cylinders today. Roman Gabriel throws for 411 yards and 4 TDs, and gets Jack Snow & Bucky Pope over the 100-yard mark.
Las Vegas Panthers 47, Pittsburgh Steelers 21. After a scoreless 1st quarter, the Panthers explode for a 24-point 2nd and maintain the lead from there. Marlin Briscoe threw 2 TDs and rushed for another.

1969: Year 4
Awards Race Check-In at Week 13
Most Valuable Player: The frontrunners for most of these awards have not changed much since midseason, and MVP leader remains John Brodie (SF). However, his numbers are not as impressive as they were earlier in the year, so Roman Gabriel (LA), Sonny Jurgensen (WAS) or Norm Snead (PHI) could all feasibly impress enough in the last 4 weeks to overtake Brodie.
Defensive Player of the Year: Tommy Nobis in Atlanta has hit the 100-tackle mark and is still a linchpin of that Falcons defense, so he remains the leader in this race. 1967 DPOY Sam Huff, who some thought that would be his swan song, is actually in the discussion again as Washington's defense impresses and has a chance to be the #1 seed again. Al Atkinson (NYJ), Joe Taylor (TEN) and Speedy Duncan (SD) have outside chances at this too.
Offensive Rookie of the Year: Calvin Hill for the New York Giants seems to have an iron grip on this award, as he leads the league in rushing yards and has double digit touchdowns. Al Woodall was in the running but got injured and still has 2 weeks left before his projected recovery, so unless he comes back to play a key role in St. Louis' playoff hunt, it's unlikely he can hop back in. O.J. Simpson may get some votes if Tennessee manages to get on a hot streak.
Defensive Rookie of the Year: Bill Bergey seems to be Joe Schmidt's spiritual successor at Detroit middle linebacker as he's been all over the ball and moved into the pole position in the DROY race. Fred Dryer in Baltimore is still solid but has slowed down in production so he'll need another hot streak to jump back in. Bob Babich (HOU) and Richard Neal (ATL) are also in the running.
Coach of the Year: This one remains a mystery as there are a lot of coaches with reasonable arguments. Otto Graham in Washington has kept an aging squad in the hunt for the top seed in the NFC, and Jerry Williams is only one game back for the Eagles in his debut NFL season after years in the CFL. Lou Saban has brought the Bills back to their glory after a 1968 dip, and despite the loss of Jack Kemp they're still in the hunt. And of course 1966 COY Jack Christiansen is also a possibility as San Francisco battles the pressure of trying for a repeat championship.

1969: Year 4
Week 14 Highlights
Willie Davis takes down Marlin Briscoe for his 8th sack of 1969 and his 100th career sack, joining only Deacon Jones and Jim Katcavage in that club. That occurred in the first half, giving the Saints home crowd more cause for cheer, but that all extinguished when Las Vegas came out of the locker room and absolutely dominated in the 2nd half, outscoring the Saints 31-3 and ending with a final score of Panthers 48, New Orleans 23. Las Vegas' Angelo Coia catches 3 receiving touchdowns in the victory, and Lem Barney returns an interception 74 yards for a touchdown on defense.
The other big defensive line performance of the week was Bob Lilly, seen here knocking down Bill Munson for the 4th time, effectively ending any chances at a Detroit comeback as the Dallas Cowboys defeat the Lions 31-16. On offense, Don Meredith recorded 4 TD passes on just 12 completions, including 2 scores to Bob Hayes.
It's the Larry Brown show in Lambeau Field as the rookie jukes out veteran Herb Adderley for his 2nd receiving TD of the day, allowing Oakland to have the score tied at the end of regulation, and then spinning past Billy Fletcher for the game-winning 58-yard touchdown run, as the final score is Oakland Raiders 37, Green Bay Packers 31 (OT). In addition to Brown, it's a hero's day for Charlie Green, who comes off the bench for an injured Daryle Lamonica to throw for 300 yards.
It's a close primetime matchup between the Bears and Washington, where Sonny Jurgensen completes the 4th quarter comeback with this 82-yard TD pass to John Burrell, which is also notable because that pass gets him to the 30,000-yard mark for his career. It's then Washington's defense who has to hold up their end of the bargain, and Stan Jones, a long-time guard for Chicago, is the one to get a key 3rd-down sack that stifles the Bears, who fail to convert a long 4th down as a result. Washington fends off Chicago 31-27. In a depressingly familiar note, Gale Sayers was carrying the Bears offense with 158 rushing yards and 3 TDs, but that's not enough. Similarly on defense, Dick Butkus was all over with 10 tackles, 2 for a loss, and 2 passes defensed.
Other Week 14 Results
Cleveland Browns 40, San Francisco 49ers 27. Cleveland defends their home turf with an impressive victory over the reigning Super Bowl champions. Jim Ninowski threw for 366 yards and 3 TDs, 2 of them to rookie Gene A. Washington, in Frank Ryan's absence as he recovers from injury. The Browns' Mel Tom & Larry Cole combine to take down John Brodie 5 times.
Philadelphia Eagles 35, New York Giants 31. A tale of two trends as the Giants lose their 3rd straight and the Eagles win their 4th in a row, now only 1 game back of the #1 seed in Washington. Norm Snead is making a serious run at MVP votes with a 4-TD game today.
Miami Dolphins 38, Buffalo Bills 13. A real surprise here as the lowly Dolphins come up to Buffalo and execute a shutdown performance today. George Wilson Jr. & Dave Kocourek hook up for 2 touchdowns.
New York Jets 30, Pittsburgh Steelers 17. Roy Jefferson is the main man for Pittsburgh with 14 catches for 122 yards and a TD, but New York has a more balanced effort (along with George Sauer's 145 receiving yards of his own) and prevails.
Minnesota Vikings 29, Los Angeles Rams 27. This was a hard-fought win for the visiting Vikings, who with the Packers loss move into 1st place in the NFC North. Kicker Fred Cox is valuable today as he goes 5-5 on field goals.
Atlanta Falcons 24, St. Louis Cardinals 20. In a pivotal NFC South matchup, the Falcons take the division lead with this close win. The difference maker might have been Ron Smith hopping in front of a pass for a 19-yard interception return TD.
San Diego Chargers 55, Tennessee Titans 35. A track meet in Memphis as John Hadl throws 5 TD passes on the Tennessee defense. Joe Beauchamp makes a mark for the Chargers D with a fumble recovery and a 51-yard pick-six.
Kansas City Chiefs 20, Denver Broncos 17. Denver's Abner Haynes rushes for 146 yards and 2 TDs, but little offense outside of that means Kansas City can survive with the victory.
Tampa Bay Buccaneers 31, Baltimore Colts 26. The Colts have lost their 3rd straight and conversation has to happen on where they go from here. Warren Wells goes off on the Colts secondary as he records 159 receiving yards and 2 TDs.
Houston Oilers 35, Cincinnati Bengals 34. The Bengals were leading by 2 touchdowns entering the 4th quarter, but Craig Morton led a successful 4th quarter comeback in Cincinnati. Tight end Bob McLeod was a key target with 9 catches for 124 yards and a TD. The tide began to turn in the 3rd when Earl Morrall got the ball swatted out before he could pass, and the fumble went back 20 yards on its own before getting picked up by Dick Anderson for a Houston return TD.
Orlando Jaguars 23, Birmingham Ravens 17. "Closer than expected" is a common refrain with the Ravens, who would hope to convert more of those into upsets, but Orlando hangs on nonetheless. Birmingham was buoyed by a surprise game from Don Herrmann, who got 2 receiving TDs on 118 yards today.
New England Patriots 48, Seattle Seahawks 10. The Patriots defense combined for 5 interceptions against Seattle, who went to their backup mid-game to little effect.

Notable Week 15 Matchups
Buffalo Bills at Pittsburgh Steelers - These are two teams right on the edge of the AFC wild card race, so this may end up being a key tiebreaker perk one of these teams could secure.
Green Bay Packers at San Francisco 49ers / Chicago Bears at Minnesota Vikings - The 49ers need some room from the Panthers to secure their division lead, and the Packers are only a game back of the Vikings for the NFC North, so both of these teams would gain a lot from a win here. Meanwhile, Minnesota has to defend its division lead against Chicago, who is also only a game back of the Vikings.
Philadelphia Eagles at Dallas Cowboys / Washington Redskins at New York Giants - Everyone in the NFC East is still in play for a playoff berth, so this week will be important in settling the order. New York especially needs a win if they want to avoid being the odd man out in this especially competitive division.

1969: Year 4
Week 15 Highlights
In perhaps one of the biggest plays of the season, Ben McGee folds a scrambling Kay Stephenson backwards for his 2nd sack of the day and forcing a fumble that Pittsburgh returns for a short touchdown. Stephenson had to be helped off the field and Mickey Slaughter was brought in to finish out a 32-6 Steelers blowout of the Buffalo Bills. After the game, it was announced that Stephenson will be out for the rest of the year, meaning along with Jack Kemp's sidelining, Buffalo is going to make their playoff push with a third-stringer at QB. Slaughter got a handful of snaps for the Broncos in 1966 but has bounced on and off practice squads since.
In another big injury for the playoff hunt, MVP frontrunner John Brodie was knocked out of the game and is expected to be out for the final 2 games of the season. He left San Fran with a 14-point lead, but Bart Starr engineered a comeback culminated by his 4th TD pass of the game, which got him to 200 career passing TDs. The Packers narrowly defeat the Niners 31-30. The 49ers have now lost 3 straight and are a game back of the Panthers in their division, while the Packers remain a game behind the Vikings in the North.
Completing the trifecta of major quarterback injuries, Rams QB Roman Gabriel is taken down hard by Cleveland's Mel Tom and he is also ruled out for the rest of the season. As hard as this one hits, Rams fans have a little more optimism given how well James Harris stepped into Gabriel's shoes today, not losing a beat in this ultimate track meet as Los Angeles outlasts the Browns 65-58. Carl Garrett runs in what is ultimately the go-ahead touchdown, a topper to a game of over 200 yards from scrimmage for him. Bucky Pope, Jack Snow & Bob D. Jones all crack the 100-yard mark for LA. Meanwhile, Cleveland's Leroy Kelly was leading the charge with 2 rushing TDs and a kick return TD. You'd be surprised but if Cleveland had won this game, the defense would have actually deserved a little credit with 2 fumbles forced inside the red zone and returned for 90+ yard touchdowns.
For the first time in Dallas Cowboys history, the team has reached the 9-win mark and are now in a position to make their first playoff appearance after a 29-6 victory over the Philadelphia Eagles. The man of the game is Cornell Green who has two pick-sixes today.
Other Week 15 Highlights
Minnesota Vikings 48, Chicago Bears 21. The Bears were just utterly dominated by the Vikings, who remain a game ahead of the Packers. Bill Brown was a star today, rushing for over 100 yards and a TD, receiving 49 yards and a TD, and even getting in a 63-yard passing TD, mostly on yards after catch by Paul Flatley. Carl Eller & Jim Marshall each record 2 sacks on the Bears offense.
Washington Redskins 31, New York Giants 18. There's a light snow in the 1st half at Yankee Stadium, but that can't slow down Jerry Smith, who hauls in 15 catches for 166 yards and 2 TDs. Sonny Jurgensen could make a late MVP push with a couple more performances like today, throwing for 355 yards and 4 TDs in this cold environment. Old man Sam Huff brings his best for Fran Tarkenton, sacking him twice today. It is very unlikely New York will be making the playoffs this year, especially as Philly has their tiebreaker.
San Diego Chargers 24, Detroit Lions 17. In the 4th quarter, Dick LeBeau leaped up for an interception, the 50th of his career. That gave Detroit a chance to tie it up but they were unable to capitalize and San Diego survives. Lance Alworth is pretty much responsible for all the Charger offense, racking up 198 yards on 11 catches.
Tampa Bay Buccaneers 34, Atlanta Falcons 24. The Bucs have now won 2 in a row and make up important ground with this win over current division leader Atlanta. Tampa does all their damage in the 2nd quarter with 28 points concentrated there. Mel Farr rushed for 196 yards today. Tommy Nobis can't appreciate the loss, but at least he maintains his DPOY narrative with 16 total tackles, 3 for a loss.
Orlando Jaguars 38, Seattle Seahawks 28. This was not as close as it appears, as Seattle scored 21 in a garbage time 4th quarter. Seattle is not mathematically out of the playoff race, but they need a lot to go their way and also will have to do so without Tom Flores, who has been ruled out for the rest of the season. Orlando's Pete Beathard threw 4 TDs in this division-clinching victory.
New Orleans Saints 20, Birmingham Ravens 17. This game mostly had ramifications for 1970 NFL Draft position, and Birmingham seems to be in a familiar spot of having to think about what position they need to bolster to reverse a lack of fortune so far in their franchise history.
Las Vegas Panthers 16, St. Louis Cardinals 3. Las Vegas' defense clamps down, allowing no scoring after the 1st quarter. This is their 3rd win in a row and with the 49ers loss, they now have sole possession of the NFC West lead.
Oakland Raiders 46, Houston Oilers 25. Larry Brown is maing a case to not be lost in the Rookie of the Year discussion as he has another big game of 139 yards on 34 rush attempts, with 2 scores.
Kansas City Chiefs 16, Tennessee Titans 10. Along with the Jaguars win, this close loss officially knocks Tennessee out of playoff contention.
New York Jets 27, New England Patriots 13. The Jets have a breeze of a time winning their 6th consecutive game. George Sauer has 2 receiving TDs.
Denver Broncos 34, Baltimore Colts 17. Pretty much summing it up: Tom Matte can only manage 12 yards on 11 total carries.
Miami Dolphins 31, Cincinnati Bengals 29. Woody Campbell breaks out with 3 touchdowns, 2 on the ground and 1 receiving.
Notable Playoff Picture Matchups
Atlanta Falcons (8-6) at Las Vegas Panthers (9-5)
Tampa Bay Buccaneers (7-7) at Los Angeles Rams (8-6)
Seattle Seahawks (6-8) at San Francisco 49ers (8-6) - The NFC West and South races are fairly interconnected, as Atlanta and Tampa travel to the West within a game of each other, while all the contending NFC West teams get the benefit of a home game this week. San Fran and LA will also have to adjust with losing their star QBs for this final stretch.
Pittsburgh Steelers (8-6) at Cleveland Browns (8-6) - In their first meeting way back in Week 2, the Steelers narrowly edged out the visiting Browns 30-22. So if Pittsburgh wins, they will have the tiebreaker and therefore the division title.
Oakland Raiders (9-5) at Orlando Jaguars (9-5) - The Jaguars have clinched their berth, but as seeding stands today, this could potentially be a rematch in a couple of weeks. The Raiders are hanging on to that 6 seed and would really like the win to stay ahead of the Bills and the AFC North runner-up.
