Now in Week 2 the 0-1 Texans find themselves facing off against the Baltimore Ravens for their first home game of the season. With QB Lamar Jackson on offense and players like Calais Campbell and Marcus Peters on Defense it's expected to be another tough matchup for the Texans although they did put up a good fight against KC.
The Texans start off with a nice little passing play to Marcus who only had one catch last game despite his great abilities.
Marcus drops the one handed catch attempt.
Offensive struggles continue through the air.
Marcus pulls off a catch off the tipped pass.
On the ground Marcus struggles as he has 5 carries for 0 yards.
First good run of the game.
Despite a few nice plays the Texans struggle to score. At the moment they are down 27-0.
Despite being down 24 points the team continues to run the football.
Once again despite good plays, the team stalls in the Redzone. Ravens defensive domination is the story of this game.
In the end the game ended 34-3 for the Ravens as the Texans were absolutely dominated at their home opener. Patrick Queen was everywhere on that defense and unfortunately for Marcus he only managed 71 yards on 21carries avg out to about 3.3ypc. Through the air however he was very elite as he managed 97yards on 6 catches.
The team sucks which was expected but Marcus has never really been on a bad team before so this 0-2 start is a harsh reality for the running back. It won't get much easier as the next game they face-off against the Pittsburgh Steelers. A defense that is probably better than the Ravens. Not an easy start to the year for the Texans.
