I think if I remember the Injury Report; JuJu was out for the season with an ACL tear, even if he was healthy I had another fast corner I could put on him Just fyi I should have the next installment up soon. The first game with A-Rod's return and with the special uniforms per RevanFan's suggestion (Hint there were a few Packer interceptions in this game )

Welcome to week 13 of Packers Football! Per RevanFan's suggestion I am using one of Green Bay's no longer used alternate uniforms today. After mowing down the Steelers last week, the Bucs come to Lambeau Field with a 5-6 record, still trying to make a playoff slot, keeping the losses at 6 or less. Aaron Rodgers is listed as QST for today, but if he can play he will be on the field Lets get started! A chilly December afternoon game. Tampa won the toss and receive the opening kickoff. Division standings 1st and 10 at the 25 yard line. 11 yard scramble by Winston 1st down Drive stalls there and they punt it away. Touchback to the 20. 4 yard pass from Rodgers to Adams then a 9 yard run from Williams for the 1st down. Somehow Rodgers got subbed back out again....12 yard pass to Adams 1st down (have to fix that sub problem) He made one of Aaron's throws though rolled left then threw across his right lol. 7 yard run by Williams then a loss of 2 brings up 3rd and 5. 5 yard pass to Nelson 1st down at the 43 of Tampa 10 yard scramble by A-Rod 1st down. 14 yard run by Williams 1st Down at the 15. Aaron was intercepted after the ball bounced off of Adams' arm. Technically he didn't throw the pick. Hargreaves fumbled it and Lane Taylor scooped it up at the 8 yard line erasing almost a 6 minute drive from the summary.... 1st and Goal. The call....

Wayne: 1st and goal Packers. Rodgers under center, 4 receivers tight on each side. Williams in the backfield. A-Rod gets the snap, handoff Williams round the left side, TouchDown Green Bay!

Larry: The whole left side was wide open, great playcalling there. Nelson would have been plastered by Grimes if he was to pass instead.

The extra point is good 7-0 Packers The Bucs take over at their 13 yard line 1st and 10 7:13 to play 1st Qtr 10 yard run by Martin 1st down. The call...

Wayne: 1st and 10 Tampa, I formation backfield. Winston gets the snap, handoff Martin up the middle, nothing there, cutting left, hit by Clinton-Dix, he coughed it up, Joe Thomas recovered it at the 19 yard line, 1st Down Green Bay!

Larry: It's nice to see big defensive plays being made on the rushing side of the football too!"

1st and 10 Packers 6:06 in the 1st Qtr. 8 yard pass to Allison, and a 4 yard run by Williams 1st and Goal at the 7 What looked like a sure TD pass to Adams was ruled out of bounds by the ref. Lost the challenge and the timeout on this one... 2nd and Goal drive stalled at the 4 yard line. Mason Crosby for a 21 FG attempt. The kick is good 10-0 Packers 1st and 10 at the 17 yard line 4:38 to go 1st Qtr 1st down 6 yard run by Martin. 2nd down bad throw picked off by Goodson 1st down Packers at the Bucs 35 3:58 to go 1st Qtr 12 yards running by Williams 1st down A very un A-Rod like pick.... unbelievable (against Carolina he threw 3 picks so I guess that's not too strange) 1st and 10 Tampa at the 13 1:57 to go in the 1st Qtr. Same song second verse bad throw by Winston picked off again by Goodson! (at least my pick was in single coverage!) 1st and 10 Packers at the 16 yard line 4 yard run by Williams, then incomplete pass to Cobb, 9 yard completion to Allison 1st and Goal at the 2. to end the 1st Qtr 10-0 Packers incomplete pass to Adams, 2nd and Goal. The call....

Wayne: "2nd and Goal, Rodgers under center. Adams and Nelson slot right. A Rod gets the snap, drops back looking, steps up, now takes it himself Touch Down Green Bay!

Larry: Look whose back in town ha ha...."

Its good; Murray nailed it 17-3 Packers Janis takes it out to the 15....1st and 10 Packers 8:34 to go in the half... 3 yard loss by Williams, 2nd and 13 run for no gain 3rd and 13.The call...

Wayne: "3rd and 13 Rodgers under center. Adams split left Jones in the slot. Nelson wide right. Snap to Rodgers, drops back looking , rainbows deep downfield, He's got Adams breaks free across the Tampa 40 and he'll go all the way untouched 82 yards!"

Larry: That was a scud missile of a throw...."

Tried to run for all 3 downs, on 3rd down A-Rod got sacked by Ayers before the handoff! 3 and out punt it away. 50 yard punt returned 9 yards to the Tampa 34. 1st and 10 Bucs 4:00 to go in the half. Another terrible throw by Winston picked off by Matthews! The call....

Wayne: "1st down Bucs, I formation backfield. Winston gets the snap, drops back fires toward Evans and Picked off by Clay Matthews! 3rd Interception for the defense today!

Larry: The defense is really trying to step up and fix the secondary issues....

1st and 10 Packers at the 34 yard line of Tampa 3:56 to go in tha half. Stupid run after the catch brings a 3 and out quickly... 1st and 10 Bucs at their 9 yard line 2:24 to go in the half. 6 yard completion to Jackson to bring a fast 3rd and 4 at the 2 minute warning. 5 yard false start penalty 3rd and 9. 4 yard loss on a backward pass, 4th and 13. Green Bay stops the clock for the punt. 1st and 10 Packers at the 43 yard line of Tampa Bay 1:45 to go in the half. 1st down 1 yard run by Williams. 2nd down incomplete pass to Nelson deep down field. 3rd and 9. The call...

Incomplete pass 4th and inches. Just go for it anyway.... Ripkowski got it so the drive continues.... Rodgers isn't quite as accurate since his injury yet....and we have a 3rd and 9. 5 yard scramble by A-Rod, fumbles the ball on the tackle, but was recovered by the Corey Linsley 1st down at the Tampa 38. 12 yard pass to Nelson 1st down 9 yard pass to Adams 2nd and 1 5 yard run by Ripkowski 1st down at the 11. Winston fumbles the ball and it is recovered by Tampa at their 5 yard line. (rather generous spotting as Smith's knee didn't touch until the 3 yard line. 3rd and 23 incomplete pass. 4th and 23 they punt it away. The call....

From the 43 with 0:03 left victory formation! Final score 50-3 Packers If it wasn't for Aaron's 3 picks it would have been a perfect game. Packers head to First Energy Stadium to take on the Browns next week! Hopefully I can get our defense out of the bottom 3rd of the rankings in time for the playoffs!

Now then, while the Packers have home field advantage quite a few teams are in the Wild Card weekend match ups. Now I have just been playing the Packer games and simming the others, should I do these wild card games differently Do you want a bunch of screen shots like my normal team games or would the box scores suffice?
