Re: The San Francisco 49ers: A New Era

Postby madden07eurocat » Tue Apr 10, 2018 2:32 pm

Welcome back to the San Francisco 49er franchise.
Here in week #16 the 49ers, cross the pond to face the New York Jets in London's Wembley Stadium. The Jets are having a tough year at 4-10 and have absolutely nothing to lose. They have a strong Pro Bowl nominee in Bilal Powell and the Niners need to be careful. Can they win in London? Let's find out! Be looking for upgrades, as well as the new FF/FI Mod that's in use.
Thanks for watching and enjoy the show!

Here is the field that I used for the playing field at Wembley Stadium. Use this tpf with the brand new FF/FI Mod updated on 3-12-18. Remember that if you want this Mid-Field Logo to work you will have to change the TMFL of the Jets field in the DB Editor TEAM table to the value for the Bengals TMFL, which is 1. That allows for the largest possible TMFL. Otherwise it will just be the default Mid-Field Logo. Also, in the TEAM table you will need to make the following changes to the Jets. SGID has to be 100 for Wembley Stadium, TEZ1 is 17 and TEZ2 is 5. The crowds have been altered via paint.net, but you should not have to change anything for that to work.

You've had some really exciting close games lately.

Also, could you PM me telling me about how you play foreign stadium games? I can't quite remember the exact procedure, and I want to play one of my franchise games abroad.

If it wasn't because their QB is Eli Manning, that game could have been different ... wait a second ... what is ELIte doing playing for the other New York Football team? Who is playing QB at the Giants?

IIRC, he got traded to the Jets. The Giants thought that they drafted a winner this last off-season. Kind of reminds you of another Manning situation. :?

I must be partially brain dead, wait I am! McKinnon's number with the Vikes was #21. He changed it from 31 in honor of his mother's jersey on the basketball team when she was in high school. He still wants #21. I don't see his number changing, unless they decide to retire Frank Gore's number. I hope not, they already have too many retired numbers IMHO. I know that he had a really good career with SF but he has moved on and so should the 49ers. IMHO, retired numbers need to be reserved for someone that made a real difference for the team and spent their entire career with that team. Montana was a special case because he was forced out in my pinion.

We should probably write this up and pin it... my method is just changing the team's stadium ID in the NZA editor for the week you want to play in Wembley, Mex City, etc.

"Jerick McKinnon will wear #28." And Gore "[has] his number essentially retired while still an active player in the league." Apparently the 49ers don't ever intend to give his number out again.

I just did a test fra with the seahawk as the home team and the 49ers as the away team. I changed the home team SGID in NZA's and here is what I get.

Now there are no EZ or TMFL logos, but if that is all that matters to a person this would be good. Quite different from the stadium that I used for the actual game I played in Wembley. If you wanted to make modificattions to this field, you would need to make changes in the DB Editor and then log address images through TexMod to change these things, as well as the crowd and goal posts. Then work in paint.net to change these images. It's all personal preference here.
I have it on my list to do a video on this, but that is not immediate.

In that case his number will be changed in the coming season for my franchise.
