I can't disagree with you there. It just seemed that the defense knew everything I wanted to try and given I don't have a very good o-line, just made for some hurried decisions and some of them were just.....bad!

I had a couple of games like this in my franchise on coach mode, the defense seemed all knowing, I got into the opposing side of the 50 yard line like 3 times on some of them.

Glad to here I'm not the only one this happens too. I'm playing with the same sliders that I finished my Browns franchise with and I'm hoping that, as the seasons go by, my roster will gain in strength. I have never been consistently good at running the ball and that's showing up big time now.
Of course, if I were winning the superbowl in season one, it wouldn't be very realistic would it.

Yeah, at times the AI gets pissed at you for winning so much and starts to read your plays. This is the entire reason why I save some OP plays for situations like that. And since I play in Classic Mode, I can execute the play differently than the AI can, like take advantage of a completely left alone receiver, who is also the best receiver in the team.

The problem with running the ball is that, since the CPU awareness is at 95, the second you snap the ball, they'll be at the hole you want to go through. I suggest you put it at 80. That will give you 1 or 2 tenths of a second more, which will allow you to get a few more yards.

I like your suggestions and here is my thought process on the whole slider issue. If I move the awareness down to 80, it may be easier to run, but here is the deal. My o-line stinks and I have fast but questionable backs, except for the FB. If I mess with the sliders now, it may not be realistic going forward, but then again a 10-20 yard game is not very realistic either. I'll have to play around with it and see what happens.

Welcome all to the San Francisco 49er franchise.
The 49ers experienced a complete reversal of what has been happening lately. The Giants played an outstanding defensive ball game. This week its the 2nd game with the Seattle Seahawks. Even after the loss the 49ers have a shot at leading the NFC West. They have to get by this Seahawk defense. Will the 49er offense be able to move the ball and put their team back on the win train. Let's find out! Be looking for upgrades, as well as, the new FF Mod that is in use.
Thanks for watching!

That could have gone better. At least this one was closer. It is weird seeing Jimmy G getting picked off.

BTW, I noticed that your receivers can't a whole lot of separation. That is caused by the 95 CPU D. Awareness. Is almost like playing in All-Madden. I play with 65 D. Awareness and 99 Knockdowns for the CPU. They do go for the Knockdowns a lot, but my receivers can get separation. Also, you should raise your own Knockdowns, otherwise your guys don't go for a lot of knockdowns when the ball is in the air. Of course, that's just me.

If you fail to plan, you plan to fail. Always have a plan. And a backup plan. And backups to the backup.
And be able to improvise.
