I agree, it would seem that you have to stay on top of your play and manage how you play a little more than if it is too easy. I know that most people like to see lots of scoring, but strategy can be fun too.

Again, refer to my previous post about what each team dealt with. 1978: tough 2015 defense. 2015: Kellen Moore throwing up a turd-fest. It was an easy game for 1978. Just a low scoring easy game. They had some good runs, but other than that, 2015's offense was a steaming pile of hot crap.

We are finally here. The final game of round 1. Which team will advance to face #11 1978? Will it be #22 2009 (11-5, Divisional Round) or #43 1986 (7-9)? 1986 is notable for being the end of Tom Landry's streak of 20 consecutive winning seasons. A streak like that has not been seen since.

It was, but you never really lose faith in Roger's ability to pull it out right at the end. He did just that. Tony Romo and 2008 put up a really good fight, though.
