I'm curious: are you playing this in franchise mode? I mean to get drafted #2 it had to be franchise, right? Did you simulate a year and then made Knox to the draft class and watched who would pick him or what?

Sorry for the flurry of questions I love this journal, keep it up! I have a feeling Knox will struggle a bit for the start of the season, but finish the season strong

GO AARON!!! Those are exciting times.

I have a feeling he will struggle quite a bit. If you have some free time, would it be possible to get a roster overview for the 49ers? My understanding is that the supporting cast has a lot of holes, but are there areas more solid than others?

I have faith in Aaron and am curious to see how many years it takes to turn things around. If they plan to, it would be useful not to draft kickers so early though.

However, the 49ers probably shouldn't be spending a 3rd round pick on a kicker...

...If they plan to, it would be useful not to draft kickers so early though.

I have a feeling the 49ers got themselves a Roberto Aguayo..I anticipate the kicker missing a lot of field goals

I hope Mr McCaffrey is more like a Sebastian Janikowski than a Roberto Aguayo. If he's really good, I will retract my criticism.

I control Knox in the game... in Defense almost always play with the SS...
Control all the teams... didn't sign anyone in the free agency... do a CPU Sim in the beginning of the season..

Aaron Knox’s preseason started with a completions streak and ended with a complete head-scratcher.



In between, the second overall pick gained a better sense of how to get where the 49ers want him to go.
His next step is to continue the process while getting fewer snaps in practice and none in games.
