Top 5 Draft Order:
1 - Bengals
2 - 49ers
3 - Jaguars
4 - Bears
5 - Raiders
Cincinnati have the first pick, and decides to stay with Andy Dalton as his starting quarterback
they could trade down, or they will selected the best player avaliable
49ers and Jaguars will pursuit his franchise quarterback
Aaron Knox, The Dual Threat
2019 NFL Combine
Knox came to Indianapolis
he will participate of the Combine
after beat the Sooners in the Sugar Bowl
Knox gain a lot of hype and the draft stock is high than the 2017 season...
College career highlights and awards
Every team we've spoken to has Aaron Knox as a first-round prospect. One high-ranking personnel man in the NFC told use he has Knox as a top-five prospect.
AK10 is a talented quarterback who was built for the position. Although he is slightly undersized (6'2"), his athletic ability lends well to him being able to be an NFL-type quarterback who can make plays with his feet, extend plays, make the deep throw, and lead a team down the field.
He has some of the same natural talents that Cam Newton had in the 2011 and Robert Griffin III had in the 2012 draft. Knox overcomes a slight size deficiency by simply being so athletic that defenders rarely get a shot on him.
He drops back with absolute ease. He is able to feel comfortable enough in the pocket to step into a throw in traffic, or reset outside the pocket. At this point, unlike Eason, he can also move the ball downfield with his feet. While many would argue that AK10 might be an athlete playing quarterback, his junior year reaffirmed that he is simply an athletic quarterback, a guy who can make all the smart throws first, and create later if necessary.
Strengths:
Weaknesses:
Projection: early 1st round
No player in college football or in the 2019 NFL draft class has the ability to take over a game like Knox. His threat as a run/pass option and his exceptional arm strength and deep accuracy make him as exciting a prospect as I can remember scouting.
HEY!!! made your mock, and bet who will land Aaron;

Strengths:
Code: Select all
Has the arm you look for in a young franchise quarterback
Quick release
Smart decision-maker
Extremely fast and mobile with scrambling ability
Throwing accurately on the run
Experienced 3-year as starter
Proven leader, passion for the game
Weaknesses:
Code: Select all
Made a lot of half field reads
Need use more calls from playbook; not just a few plays
Inconsistent field vision
Need more accuracy
Need more time in a pro-style offense
Can look to run too quickly when his first read is covered

Knox's transition from LSU's offense to a classic pro-style attack will obviously take time, but his combination of intangibles and athletic ability make him worth a first-round selection.

Re: Aaron Knox, The Dual Threat
I'm thinking the 49ers will draft Knox with the #2 pick. Unless the Bears trade up to #1?

Well, unless he's doing superstar mode. In that case, he'll go in the 3rd round no matter what.

2019 NFL Draft
In this year draft we have a lot of rumors about
the Bengals trying to trade down.. for a team desperate for a quarterback...
this didn't happen... Cincinnati picks the best player avaliable
and add LT #76 Gary Gleen to their roster...
With the 2nd pick in the NFL draft, the San Francisco 49ers select.............. AARON KNOX, quarterback, LSU.
Everybody are predicting 49ers to select quarterback Jacob Eason
he played high football in the Northwest of the country...
and Knox is a Florida native, and a lot of scouts mock him going to the Jaguars...
What happen otherwise

Re: Aaron Knox, The Dual Threat
Nice! Let's hope Knox can become a franchise QB for the 49ers.
However, the 49ers probably shouldn't be spending a 3rd round pick on a kicker...

Yes.... in the moment the support cast is pretty weak
the 49ers didn't do a great job in the past Draft (2018)
Re: Aaron Knox, The Dual Threat
I'm curious: are you playing this in franchise mode? I mean to get drafted #2 it had to be franchise, right? Did you simulate a year and then made Knox to the draft class and watched who would pick him or what?
Sorry for the flurry of questions I love this journal, keep it up! I have a feeling Knox will struggle a bit for the start of the season, but finish the season strong

Re: Aaron Knox, The Dual Threat
GO AARON!!! Those are exciting times.
I have a feeling he will struggle quite a bit. If you have some free time, would it be possible to get a roster overview for the 49ers? My understanding is that the supporting cast has a lot of holes, but are there areas more solid than others?
I have faith in Aaron and am curious to see how many years it takes to turn things around. If they plan to, it would be useful not to draft kickers so early though.

I have a feeling the 49ers got themselves a Roberto Aguayo..I anticipate the kicker missing a lot of field goals
