John Elway celebrated an effiecient day completing 68% of his passes. Sammy Winder found it tough sledding running out of the backfield against the Dawg Pound. 31 year old veteran Center Billy Bryan played a mistake free football game today.



Randy Robbins started today at strong safety in place of injured Dennis Smith. Robbins, a 4th round pick from Arizona in 1984, made the most of his oppurtunity picking off a pass and placing 2nd on the team in tackles.



Bernie Kosar came into the game playing hurt and got knocked around from the first play. Finally he was knocked out of the contest.



Jim Ryan is a veteran Broncos linebacker playing in his 8th season with the football club after being an undrafted free agent from William and Mary.



Second year back Steve Sewell lead the thundering Broncos with two touchdown gallups.



The Cleveland faithful began to watch their perfect season end when Dave Studdard sent Clay Matthews to the ground on a block.

New York's Phil Simms was named the the offensive player of the week in the National Football League for week number 7. Danny Walters from San Diego had his career best day and earned the NFL's defensive player of the week award.



Keeping the offensive player of the week award in the New York Quarterback Club, Kenneth John O'Brien Jr., earns the AFC trophy for week 7. Chargers Cornerback Danny Walters is the defensive recipient.



Phil Simms who quarterbacks the Giants earned NFC player of the week for his perfect game. Philadelphia Cornerback Bernard Wilson was awarded the NFC defensive player of the week honor.
