Cleveland Browns Franchise Journal

Postby madden07eurocat » Wed Oct 12, 2016 5:31 pm

I am starting a video journal of the Cleveland Browns journey to greatness. Cleveland has never won a Superbowl, never been to the Superbowl and haven't won a title since before they started Superbowls. They won an NFL championship a year after I was born. I am going to try to bring them out of the cellar and to the glory that befits a Superbowl champion team. Well......we'll see how that goes! Here is the set up video for all to see on YouTube!

I would appreciate feedback as I am trying to get better at using my editing software.

Thanks

I fixed your video link. All you need to do is post the code for the video in the tags. The code that comes after "?v=", that is. In your case, it was "w6nsjOo6HEg".

I liked the first video. Good work.

Word of advice. At the end of the season, before progressing to the offseason, you'll want to remove all players from the PS team and put them on your roster. After that, deal with them as you like. If you leave them on the PS team when you go to the offseason, they won't age or progress in any way.

Are you going to use 90-man preseason rosters, or are you just sticking with the basics in that area?

If I would have read this first I wouldn't have asked such a silly question in the other post. Dough..............

Sticking with more of the basics in the 90 man roster area. Following a mixture of NZA's Franchise Guide and information that I got from valvegas1. That really isn't going to take place until later in the season though. We get to enjoy the season as is for now and I can soak in all the offseason info as we go.

One more thing. If you want to move players from your roster to the PS team AFTER advancing to the offseason, it is safe to do so in the player re-signing stage (NOT Restricted Free Agency). That way your roster will not have too many players when you enter the first open free agency period or the draft.

I detailed that in my franchise guide, but that is geared for a full 90-man preseason.

Sorry it has been so long for the next episode. I had to start over due to a corrupted roster. Please leave constructive feedback as I am trying to make these episodes better than they currently are.

Thanks!!

I like it so far. Two things. 1. I think it's Jack-wee-in for pronunciation, though I'm not certain. 2. You have a golfer named Foggy Nelson? If that is a reference to what I think it is, that's awesome.
