BREAKING NEWS:D'andre Payne transfers to Clemson University!

It's a sad and devastating day for Tennessee as CB D'andre Payne transferred to Clemson University. It came so sudden and in the middle of the season everyone was caught off guard, here is HC Butch Jones

Butch Jones:Now,this whole thing was a shocker to us as D'andre never spoke of any intentions to transfer to Clemson or any school. However,we will continue to play like we did before and we will do it good.

Reporter:Now that D'andre is gone, who will be taking his place?

Butch Jones:A year before i was hired,Derek Dooley was the HC and offered a scholarship to Kameron Stafford. Now,Kameron rode the bench for his entire college career and only played in 1 quarter. Why was he offered a scholarship to ride the bench?I don't know. But now that D'andre is gone,Kameron will take his place.

Reporter:Thank you Butch, now onto the season. The wildcats are 5-4 currently and need to turn it around right now to get a shot at a bowl game. This surely won't help their efforts unless Kameron Stafford is as good as D'andre Payne. Is he?We'll know at the end of the season.
God bless america!

Tennessee Times

Week 11 vs North Texas Mean Green
Score: Volunteers-14 Mean Green-0

The Volunteers defeat the Mean Green 14-0!

The Vols beated the Green in what was a one sided match-up.The Vols offense was scoring and the vols defense was preventing the scoring.Speaking of defense,CB Kameron Stafford had a ok day as he had 1 tackle and allowed 1 catch.1 touchdown was scored by our RB and the other scored by our QB.Not much too be said since this game was expected to be won by the Vols.

Tennessee Times

Week 12 vs Missouri Tigers
Score: Volunteers-13 Tigers-17

The vols lose to the Tigers 13-17.

The game came down to the last play,a hail mary attempt failed and ended it 13-17.The first half was clearly in favor of the Tigers. The second half however the Vols came back and made it a one possession game. They couldn't get a touchdown on the final play as it was deflected by the defense. On a bright note,Kameron Stafford did well getting 2 tackles and 1 INT.Next week is the final game of the season.A potential shot at the Outback Bowl ended due to today's loss.

Tennessee Times

Week 13 vs Vanderbilt Commodores
Score: Volunteers-0 Commodores-12

Vols get blown out at there house 0-12

Disappointing and terrible game by both the offense and defense. Our corners couldn't stop anything. Our offense couldn't get field goals or touchdowns. And Kameron Stafford got TORCHED today.I'm glad he's out since he can't play corner,at least not the #2 spot. One thing that IS good though,is that for the Commodores 2 touchdowns, their kicker missed both the PAT's.And missed a 47 yard field goal not only wide left, but the ball never reached the Endzone. God bless that kicker.
