Some of those stats you look for are very rare. How often do you find players that meet your needs?
Also, do height and weight ever play into your decisions?

Fantasy roster: classic vs recent
We would also like to share our current roster for a fantasy matchup that would oppose players from our previous and current franchise. We think it is too early to add Shawn McNamara to the recent team, but we unless he stops producing, we think he will end up as the #1 running back.
Any thoughts? Anyone we forgot?

Good questions! I mostly can find players that fit my needs, but sometimes I have to settle for less, and I'm okay with that. My current #1 CB has SPD 95, but his other attributes make him as good or even better than my #2 CB, who has SPD 99. I've been looking for a few seasons for a replacement to Hariman Jahoda, but TEs with 88 SPD who can hang on to the ball are pretty rare.
Height and weight do play into my decisions, but not always. I like tackles who are 6'6+, but I've had smaller ones who have been just as effective. For skill positions, I have an example where it really played a role: Sheldon Stone. I would have been interested if he had been 5'10, but probably would not have picked him first overall. The fact that he is 6'6 made him even more attractive.
Re: A Colts/Blizzard Journal
Also, I don't know if it matters, but I do not use auto-repair on my draft classes. So maybe some of those attributes are not as rare as for people who do use auto-repair?

Preseason notes
-FB/TE C.J. Reynolds' hands are not reliable enough to make him anywhere close to what Hariman Jahoda was, but he's a good blocker and can hold on to the ball a few times a game.
-Angelo Millen and Layton Pounds both had good performances (not stellar), which led to the transaction detailed in the next post.
-Shawn McNamara seems hit by the curse that sometimes follows a historical performance. He does gain yardage, but has trouble hanging on to the ball.
-Mack Rodgers and Rondell Hendrickson both performed well and should be starters in the 4-LB packages.
-Rashaan Stills and Jaime Martin were both effective on special teams, but they are not ready to be more than backups on defense.
-Derek Wallick handled both kicking and punting duties, as well as kickoffs.

Personnel move
OL Jonathan Jordan has been traded to the Vancouver Wasps. This will allow him to finish his career at RT.
In return, Anchorage receives a 2nd-rounder, and swaps 1st-rounders with Vancouver.

More personnel moves
With the emergence of Derek Wallick, the team has released kicker Jeffrey Harper. Harper immediately signed with his former team, the Dallas Cowboys.
Greg Orchard, long-time blocker on kick returns, has also been released. The 34-year-old is considering retirement but is currently a free agent.

Re: A Colts/Blizzard Journal
Retirement
If you paid close attention to the opening day depth chart, you might have noticed an important name missing. Sadly, it is not a mistake.
Having lost a lot of speed in the past few years, veteran tight end Hariman Jahoda decided to call it a career. He leaves behind a legacy of incredible plays and astronomical numbers. He exits as the best receiving tight end to have ever played, and should be in the discussion for greatest player of all time. Though friend and former teammate QB Josh Bruce, who threw him so many of his TD passes, shall also be in that discussion.
We wish him the best in his retirement. The door is open if he wants to stay around the team as a scout or a coach. Here are his final stats.

Re: A Colts/Blizzard Journal
Retiring after the preseason? Why so late? He should at least play out one last season. Get a goodbye tour like Mariano and Jeter.
