Team spotlight: Dallas Cowboys
Could it finally be the Cowboys' turn to win another Super Bowl? Not only do they have a stellar roster, but their rivals from Anchorage failed to secure a star receiver, which will affect their game.

At the middle point of the season, two teams are still undefeated (Blizzard and Cowboys both at 8-0), while three more have two losses or fewer: Dolphins at 7-1, Jets at 6-2 and Wildcats at 6-2.
LB Ricky Wayne is currently first in MVP voting. With Sheldon Stone gone, the Blizzard's aerial offense went down drastically, though 29-year-old WR Byron Lucas is finally getting his chance to shine.
The Cowboys have been on fire too, not being stopped by the then-undefeated Seahawks and rolling over them 63-9.

In a risky but perfectly executed play, tackle J.K. Lewis throws to linebacker Ricky Wayne, who makes an acrobatic catch.
Wayne gets to the quarterback, something we've seen plenty of.

Though my only merit was to recognize it as a great concept, and adapt it to Madden. It was posted on another site, in a rebranding contest. People had to redesign teams that already existed.
Those are actually the NY Giants. I "relocated" them to a nearby city so I could redesign them. Not the most effective method, but it will do until I learn TexMod.

Season 43 recap
Please excuse my brief-ish update. This season was not as exciting as I hoped it would be. The Blizzard was not as dominant as in some previous years, but it also didn't face as much adversity as I hoped. Still, I'm reluctant to play with my sliders because it would alter the possibility to compare performances from over the years.
There was much anticipation going into week 13, as the Cowboys and Blizzard were putting their 11-0 record on the line against each other. It was a good game, but did not live up to the hype.
There was still a lot of good in that season, and new information gathered. For instance, Byron Lucas was thrust into the WR1 position and, though he didn't ascend to superstardom, he did admirably well. TE Hank Newman has mostly been used in short yardage, but delivered when used in other situations. Though not a speedster, he got open enough to outrun everyone to the endzone on a 95-yard TD. He also had two TDs of over 50 yards in the same game later in the season.

------------------------------------------------------------There was still a lot of good in that season, and new information gathered. For instance, Byron Lucas was thrust into the WR1 position and, though he didn't ascend to superstardom, he did admirably well. TE Hank Newman has mostly been used in short yardage, but delivered when used in other situations. Though not a speedster, he got open enough to outrun everyone to the endzone on a 95-yard TD. He also had two TDs of over 50 yards in the same game later in the season.

Playoffs recap
Once again, the Cowboys (14-2) were facing the Blizzard (16-0), this time in Jacksonville.
Dallas opened the scoring when SS Jake Givens intercepted a pass and returned it for the score.
However, the score was tied when Byron Lucas beat Givens and CB Al Gaffney for the touchdown.
Hank Newman and Travis Lopez both beat defenders to the endzone to make it 14-14.
The Cowboys created turnovers, but would only have two field goals to show for it.
Another TD by Lucas would give the Blizzard the 1-point lead.
Dallas had almost 2 minutes for a final drive, but could not make it into field goal range.
