2009 New Orleans Saints (13-3)at2005 Dallas Cowboys (9-7)Drew Brees drops back late in the first quarter but is picked off by Terence Newman who takes it to the house for a 7-0 lead for the '05 CowboysThe '05 Cowboys made it 14-0 on this play as Drew Bledsoe found Jason Witten for a 9-yard score.Drew Bledsoe takes the snap and gives to Julius Jones who runs it in from 2 yards out to make it 21-0.The '09 Saints finally get on the board on a 57-yard toss play to Reggie Bush.Less than two minutes later, Drew Brees finds Marques Colston on a 64-yard TD strike to make it 21-14.At this point, for some reason, the game stopped saving my screen shots and stats, so I'll recap the rest of the action:
-The Saints tied it on a 17-yard pass from Drew Brees to Lance Moore with 1:08 left in 2nd quarter.
-One play after a Scott Shanle interception, New Orleans made it 28 unanswered points when Brees and Colston connected again for 45 yards with 0:32 left in the half.
-In the 3rd quarter, an Anthony Henry interception led to a 22-yard Billy Cundiff field goal for Dallas to cut the lead to 28-24.
-Early in the 4th, Dallas made a goal-line stand to force a 20-yard field goal by John Carney that made it 31-24.
-The Saints sealed the comeback win when Sedrick Ellis got a sack-fumble on Bledsoe with 1:34 remaining. Reggie Bush then ran it in from 30 yards out to make the final score
