Playbook Editor for Madden 05/06?

Was there ever a playbook editor for the older games? Asking because of how motion works with them, M08 playbooks crash with the new motion system EA implemented.

If not, are there any work-arounds to easily have motion in Madden 05/06?

Madden 05 uses a similar engine to Madden 08, it just doesn't have pre-snap motions. 06, 07, and 08 are the exact same.

I think 07 and 08 are the same with pre-snap motion, but Madden 06 crashes with M08 motion at least in my experience. Was packfan 2.5 the first playbook editor way back in the days of football freaks?
