Hi...
There's anyone out there that can help me out to figure what sliders ( maybe penalties ???? ) I gotta tweak to prevent this really annoying issue...
What happens is: I clearly sack the QB but the play results in an incomplete pass.
It's clearly a sack plus a fumble but the QB always gets away with it...LOL
Really drives me crazy...
Sack and fumble is one of my fav play !!!
Thanks
incomplete pass or fumble ??
Re: incomplete pass or fumble ??
What level are you playing on? All Pro or All Madden. It sounds like something you would experience on All Madden - the game cheats to win.
Re: incomplete pass or fumble ??
You are right but I am playing all pro.
Coach vs CPU.
I used to play my sliders for years but with the new OVR ratings yours helped me to make some changes and keep the game competitive and realistic.
I am tired of tweaking.
I settled down with them and worked on the panalties sliders too cuz as we know they effect the game as well.
Any idea how to solve the fumble issue........
Thanks, have a good draft day.

I play on Classic vs Cpu, using Calhoupe's scripts and the latest mod. As far as penalties go, I have -False start to Clipping at 50 and Intentional Grounding at 0. The reason being; it allows the QB to scramble out of the pocket, simulating real play. The only setting that would effect fumbles, is RB Ability- if it's set low = more fumbles.
Re: incomplete pass or fumble ??
I got RB ability Human 50 - CPU 65
But I play D.Cook and he already fumbles more than in real life.... Maybe time for A.Mattison to take over LOL
Thanks a lot.

The "carry" attribute affect how often a player fumbles. But for the QB's Calhoupe Script has a QB Fumble option that affects what you're trying to accomplish.
Re: incomplete pass or fumble ??
Thanks.
I'm gonna try with Calhoupe Script.
Maybe I'll get rid of QBs that lose the ball when they get sacked and refs save their day by calling incomplete pass.
You look at the replay and their arm is totally NOT FORWARD LOL
Thanks again.

Re: incomplete pass or fumble ??
I actually mentioned this issue before, and tend to get away with it 98-99% of the time. VERY rarely, the refs actually play by modern rules and call that a fumble. Mot of the time, you get what I called back then the "Tuck Rule" issue. I think, hope I'm wrong, that it is a game code/script issue and non fixable through sliders.

If you fail to plan, you plan to fail. Always have a plan. And a backup plan. And backups to the backup.
And be able to improvise.
