Seems like this has been covered before, so apologies if I couldn't find it in a previous thread. But when a QB takes off on a pass play, are we 100% sure that the run blocking slider is activated, or is it still pass blocking? Or something in-between?
What got me thinking about it (and overthinking about it) was this article from the always good Football Outsiders:

As soon as the QB runs past the LOS, pass blocking shuts off and run blocking kicks in 100%! You can't tell if the lineman is engaged in a block. But You should see other non-engaged linemen looking to block someone downfield!
