Tip: Screen resolution affects sliders. + Settings/graphics tips

Screen resolution affects sliders. I prefer using any of the default sliders. Also I have noticed my recommended screen resolution (size) is not listed in Madden. So I just open the madden settings in my documents with any note/text program like Notepad. I make sure 4 settings are set accordingly. The first is 32 bit, not 16 bit. The 2nd is my recommended screen resolution (size). Mine is 1360x768. On my desktop, everything displays the best with that same resolution, for me. Circles are one of the best ways to determine if you are using proper resolution. Also quality in letters/graphics (least jaggedness). The third setting is depth, set to 32, not 16. And the fourth setting, set refresh rate to 60mhz. You likely will not be able to adjust your settings whatsoever in-game, or else all of these settings reset. Also note, even after you change these settings, your game may not register them with your first try, especially when you get in game. So go back to the main menu, exit madden, and try again. If you are using a TV as your screen in most cases I recommend putting it on 4:3 in-game. That way everything will display in perfect proportion. That is how Madden 08 was built. Use movie mode for better graphics, with most/all settings default, or optionally off). Also I use trey31's newly released lighting/equipment mods, found in the graphics section.
