I've been tinkering with the sliders for years using various ones posted to this site, as well as doing my own tweaks, with minimal success. I used the ones in your second post on this topic today after I drubbed the Chiefs in a dull 25-7 game (19-7 before I got a pointless final play touchdown in my boredom) with the Raiders, using Rogerjinx's 1.0 roster for this season and with the sliders set to all 45s for the human and all 55s for the computer (and on all-pro difficulty with all penalties set to 99). I then implemented the second set of sliders you posted into this topic, along with the penalty setting changes (and turned off the assists, as well), and had a much better result playing against the Raiders with the Seahawks (same rosters as before), an action-packed 29-22 win with a few lead changes in the final minutes and the Raiders driving down the field to nearly tie before coughing the ball up. I don't know if actual Human vs. CPU games are of much value for this process, but here's some data to throw on the pile if they are. Game was in the Vegas stadium included in the latest Football Freaks mod:
Edit: Oh! And as it relates to kicking, the Janikowski miss was a 60 yarder that was perfect on the meter and fell just short of the crossbar. Aimed slightly up, it probably would've been good. Nugent had a basically identical miss on a 58 yarder. So the field goal length setting seems to be in a pretty good place.
Also, this seems like as good an excuse as any to share what is hands-down the closest near-block I've ever seen in this or any other game, from Nugent's successful extra point attempt. It's almost like the literal football is passing through a metaphorical exclamation of "good field goal" by the would-be blocker.

you can do that in NZA's editor under the Coach tab...it breaks down the Offensive and Defensive Aggression/Conservative & the Run/Pass Ratio
