BIT - are the files you provided for madden xbox, are those from the original xbox version or xbox360 ?

Hi!
I just stumbled on this. I'm starting to look into PS2 Madden/NCAA editing - mostly been working on roster and franchise/dynasty based mods but with a lot of those goals accomplished now, my next goal now is to look at graphics. I've been able to do editing on PSP graphics using Console Texture Explorer. The PSP and PS2 graphics are swizzled I believed, and they have to be unswizzled to view properly. None of the EA PC tools have worked for me, though FshEd can at least show you the picture size and info but not display the actual graphics but these were PSP msh files, which I believe are Fsh files that have been ported to "msh" using EA Graphics Library (which is some EA SDK to convert stuff over to consoles), of course these are my assumptions.
I'm looking into editing logos for NCAA and Madden now on PS2, which seem to be MMAP or some form of MMAP files. Hopefully they're the same or similar to xbox and I can share results that I find.

Do you want a version of my editor? It somewhat works on the ncaa ps2 files I was asked to look at in another thread

I dont think there's source code there, but I've seen unswizzling code that was used for MVP modding around...

Minotauri - thanks for the suggestion. I opened an image similar to this one, selected 512x64, 8 bit, then hit "try to draw" and got this:
I wasn't expecting it to work for xbox but I just thought I'd show everyone how it looks. Anything I didn't do correctly?

Can you upload the image you looked at?
Try it with swizzling on. Also, you may need to look at the file in a hex editor to find the right graphic and palette offset. it's not really that easy, but it's possible.

Swizzle or unswizzle didn't seem to matter. Above is what it looks like with palette and graphic offset inputted (in decimal amounts). Below is the original graphic.
