glad i could help...that actually leads me to my current project of checking if weather is at all any relation to players stamina and if not how to make it so it is...i've been away from this game for a while and just getting back to it is making it slightly difficult to remember everything but i have learned that there are a few things i have found to not be hard coded like most are assuming and i am currently working on implementing some new things into the game that will add to realism and accuracy...will update everyone on my findings and results on these monumental achievements when i sort them all out and get them working properly

I just checked Madden 04's StreamedData.db file, and it doesn't have those. It must be only 08 that has them. Oh, well. It was worth a shot.

sorry...didn't realize you was referring to 04...I have 08 only so all my data and info is based on that

To find out which players have a particular "Player Face ID"...it is found in the PFEx column of your roster file.

1. Open your roster ( <default roster> or custom ) in DB Editor
2. Click the PLAY Table ( players)
3.Go to last column on the right ( PFEx)...this is the Player ID number.
4. Go to CVS...export CVS [ it should appear in your "Documents" folder (not Madden) under Folder "DB CVS Output"]
5. Load file into Excel or Open Office Calc (Free)
6.Highlight the PFEx column.
7.go up to "Sort Ascending"( A/Z arrow down - in Calc) click
8.Click "extend selection"
9 You now have all the Player ID's in numerical order and can easily view what players have that particular number.

The "PCPH" of Vinatieri and Marvin Harrison in the <default roster> are BOTH "2" (1,2,3 are all that are used). This can't mean a skin color because one player is "light" and the other is "dark". Not sure what it means...but it is NOT skin color. It seems to me that a few dedicated serious members of FootballFreaks community , and here at FootballIdiots have deciphered many of the important acronyms in the databases...but some others have simply "guessed" and went to the FF site and edited the Definitions File. I would question every entry on the list unless it has been tested and proven.

Also "PSKI" is wrong as "Player Skin Color" but at least that LOOKS like it should be "Skin Color" Just another guess...can't be correct
(1,2,3 are used ) Addai is 2 , Marvin Harrison is 1....but BOTH are dark. ( i.e. 1=light , 2=med , 3=dark) Maybe it means Player Skiing"? :lol:

Madden amp comes with a field definitions file, I think in excel format... would be nice to get all of this info consolidated in it at some point...

btw what are you guys using to edit the DB files? The Madden Db editor I tried either locks up or is so slow loading a file I end up giving up...

I had the same problem that's why i switched back to XP. The db editor 2 does not work with windows 7 (framework issues maybe) and the db editor 3 does work in windows 7 but it just takes too long.
