Wishbone

Postby old coach » Sun Feb 18, 2018 5:58 pm

Attached is a basic wishbone offense that is based on Dude 47's T formation offense playbook. The playbook has running plays only. This playbook has 6 derivations of the wishbone. These are: 2TE, 1WR-right, 1WR-Left, 2WR & 3WR-slot right & left. No lab animals were harmed during testing of these plays. ;)

i forgot to mention in my earlier post that the wishbone plays I uploaded have been tested against the Standard 4-3 defense. In my gameplay I use either the 4-3 or 5-2 defense depending upon the teams playing. I tweek the blocking schemes to fit which defense the offense is facing. I have Wishbone vs 4-3 and Wishbone vs 5-2.

Can you upload that 5-2 defense? I remember early 80's Oklahoma Sooners using wishbone on offense and 5-2 on defense.

Here you go- one 50 defense attached. I only play in coach mode. Some adjustments may need to be made in my offensive and defensive plays if you play in arcade mode.

Nice! You know what kind of offense used the 80's Miami Hurricanes?

Miami threw the ball a lot in the 80's. Pro style, drop back passing from splitbacks and I formation mostly. Formations with 3 & 4 wideouts was the norm.
