I'm using the latest version of the FF/FI mod. After replacing the playbook in the GAMEDATA.dat file (in the /My Documents folder), the game launches normally but closes after a few seconds.

I'm making another update making that will never happen again. Just running a few tests making sure the game doesn't crash.

I'm not sure if it's intentional, but the main kickoff formation places the return team at the 50-yard line and the kicking team at the 10-yard line.

It was done intentionally, I don't know what to do with the new kickoff rules/formations. So, I did what I had to do. If you don't like it, that's fine with me.

Relax, I'm not criticizing. I appreciated the work, I just made an observation.

The only way to get the kickoff to be accurate is to use cheat engine. Unfortunately calhoupe is the only one who understands how to use it. He uploaded all his templates but without instructions, it just doesn't make any sense. I edited a playbook and moved all the players to their proper locations for the kickoff. As soon as the kicker kicks the ball, the kicking team turns around and starts running back to him. They also get called for offsides, so cheat engine is the only way. Guess we're stuck with the old kickoff unless one of his scripts has a "no kickoff" feature, never noticed.

Yeah, I'm going to use the old kickoff formations going forward. Because I can't figure out with the new kickoff rules at all. I wish the nfl didn't change it
