Screen plays that actually work!!!
Screen plays that actually work!!!
Sharing here some pretty effective screen plays out of different formations I've been working on for some time. I've used the "automatic pass" code 104, which means you can use these plays on both, player and coach mode. Keep in mind that in Madden most screen plays work vs zone but not vs man. Enjoy!

Check out the screens on my playbooks too for even more improvements and future reference, I even found ways to make CPU screens work.

Thanks. I used the "automatic pass" code 104 so they can also be used by the CPU.

I wasn't even aware of that code, that would've been useful lol. I simply removed all other WR option and gave 100% chance to the HB.
Re: Screen plays that actually work!!!
thegipper,
Fabulous work. Using code 104 makes a great improvement (it refers to double pass, but here it's just used to pass without a progression, like a timing pass). I just replaced this code with the usual passing code in many screen plays. Code 104 works much better. Like rarebutter, I have been giving 100% chance to just the screen receiver, but it is very difficult to get the computer-controlled QB to time the screen pass correctly. As rarebutter has also pointed out, to get the timing better, one has to careful about designing the screen receiver's route as well. Even with these adjustments, I can see from testing that using code 104 works much better.
I wish I had taken note of your post a year ago! Now, I need to modify my recent motion playbooks. A lot of work because they are large and compressed, so I will need to modify and then join the building blocks again. Probably worth it, as your finding really does greatly improve the screen passes.
