Confirmation email system still working?

I have someone that commented on my YT channel that they put in a request a couple weeks ago to join the forum and still has not got a confirmation email. Is the system still working?
Don't sweat the petty things, and yet don't pet the sweaty things! ;)

Isn't there a way to resend the confirmation email? Also, tell them to look in their spam folder because most emails from this site end up there for some reason.
