How do tell if there is a new post in a topic?

Postby madden07eurocat » Tue Jun 28, 2016 2:16 pm

Curious, there are soooooo many different icons for topics (box with an i in it, box with a * in it and so on) that it gets a little confusing as to whether you have read the current post in a topic or not. It would be nice to have a guide, unless it is self explanatory and I'm missing it. One of the other sites that I frequent http://www.coursedownloads.com has the topic subject line in bold and once you have read the latest post it turns to non-bold. Makes it really easy to see if you have read the latest post in the topic or not. I didn't know if this site has something that easy to distinguish or not.
Don't sweat the petty things, and yet don't pet the sweaty things! ;)

(The * means you posted in the thread.)
If the thread title is red then you have unread posts inside.

Also a moderator should move this to SITE DISCUSSION.
EDIT: Thanks
So the Giants traded Beckham....
