How to import and export players to different rosters and franchises

Postby Acee2105 » Wed Jul 11, 2018 7:51 pm

I was looking at the FFL (fictional football league) files on this website for a a hypothetical custom team franchise, and I saw that there were created free agents. I wanted to know if there was anyway I could take the free agents from the ffl .ros file, and add them onto my own custom team roster. Is there any way..?

It might be possible to export the fictional roster to an excel file, and then copy and paste the info for the free agents you want to the exported excel file of your normal roster, before re-importing.

So:

- Open fictional roster in NZA. Export to CSV.

- Open CSV file. Copy the players you want.

- Open CSV file for your normal roster.

- Paste.

- Import.

Probably a little more involved than that, but it's a method I think should work.

I wouldn't use NZA, better off using DB Editor and exporting the PLAY table. Free agents are TGID 1009, just copy and paste them into the PLAY table of your custom roster. Don't forget to edit the last cell in the top row (total number of players not counting the top row) or DB Editor will crash when you import.
