Madden Amp OFFICIAL Release Thread
Re: Madden Amp OFFICIAL Release Thread
The DPPA table in StreamedData.db controls draft priority for each position in madden. Would it be possible to have Madden Amp look at the DPPA table when determining draft priority for different positions?

It is possible, but the draft feature in amp already assigns values to players and drafts according to team needs.

For some reason, I can't get MAmp to change team colors.
Any ideas? Wrong version? I'm running Win7.

You didn't leave me much info to go on here Aaron, if this is something that was working in the past, it should still work. I haven't
messed with any of those functions at all.

Re: Madden Amp OFFICIAL Release Thread
I love madden amp. It's one of my favorite utilities. However one thing I cant seem to get to work is the fix all stats function in the weekly maintenance tab. It always give me an error when I try to run it. I'm a HUGE stat nerd so being able to get realistic stats for Madden would be a dream come true.
I'm playing Madden 2004,
I've tried Madden Amp versions 3.7 3.8 and 3.9. Always the same problem.
Maybe i'm not using the function at the proper time? I attempt fix all stats at the end of the season before the first playoff game. Is it recommended to run weekly maintenance and fix all stats once a week? Also 2 side questions. Whens the best time to use the fix progression feature? My guess would be at the player retirement stage? And it is possible to upload draft classes with amp correct? It would be cool to be able to recreate the 2004 and so on nfl drafts. If yes where should I be in the game before I upload my draft class? Player retirement?
This is the error I get when I try fix all stats,

This is the error I get when I try fix all stats,
I did not write this section of the code, and after looking through it this morning, it would be difficult to fix.
Will try and fix it in a future release.

Thanks for looking into it stingray. Funny thing is the fix all stats feature seems to work ok on franchises after season 1. Doesn't ever work on season 1 though.

Well the code goes through and check stats, assuming that they exist, and unfortunately in early seasons certain stats might not exist yet and those are the errors you are seeing.
The more seasons that are played the more likely the stats it is looking for will exist.
I wrapped that whole section of code in a general error catch (this is a bad idea, but I'm not willing to go through and write tons of code to correct the problems)
if you PM me your email address I will send it to you to try.

This error pops up when browsing some players in my franchise..
Could you check it also?

I can't seem to download 3.9 or any 4.0 betas, I always get the error that the attachment no longer exists. Where can I download?
