For some reason, I can't get MAmp to change team colors.

Any ideas? Wrong version? I'm running Win7.

To my knowledge....this only changes the menu background color and such.....not the actual team color

I can't seem to download 3.9 or any 4.0 betas, I always get the error that the attachment no longer exists. Where can I download?

After the site was attacked, most of the files went down. We will have to wait for the original poster to reupload the file.

I don't have 3.9 sitting around any longer, so you will need to visit the beta thread to get the latest.
(and betas likely have bugs in the new features, just another warning to back up your files before editing them)

Could you upload it to an outside source instead? It would probably be better if we start uploading exclusively to outside sources from now on.

when u select captains through this tool it does not reflect this in game
in game u must deselect captain then select him as captain
and then the game will recognize the captaincy and post a C logo near player

All that is is a player role, which I don't use anyway. Making a player a captain in Madden Amp will put them in the coin toss. The role is separate. If you want the role, you can add it with NZA 1.3

You can edit the captains in a franchise with madden editor 1.3

As far as I am aware of, there are 2 options for "Team Captains"
In Madden amp, under Franchise, there is an option "Set Team Captains" and as Revanfan said, those I believe just control who is out there representing the team at the coin toss.

Under the player editor, there are options under "Role" and/or "Weapon" depending on if you are using v2007 or v2008
Those have also a definition of "TeamCapt" (or Team Captain)
These hold different values depending on if using v2007/v2008 and I was not aware that they were different until looked into the streameddb.dat file and looking at the value for each version. No one ever commented on a problem with that before and it's been several years since those were introduced to Madden amp.

The way it is in the currently available madden amp, the values are based on v2008 and will not be applied correctly if you are editing a roster/franchise for v2007.
I have since corrected this and will release those, and other bug fixes at some point in the future (and no, I don't know when that will happen)
Feel free to use any other editor that was previously suggested if you are not getting the results that you require.

I get the following errors (see attached) when trying to edit certain players and coaches and it freezes Madden Amp so I'm forced to close it via task manager. I'm currently using v4.0 beta 4 and have the same issue with previous versions (3.9 and 3.5). I'm playing Madden 08 and am in my 5th season of the franchise.
I also found the game freezes when I score the extra point or 2 pt conversion when I play a game with the Redskins. After trying many different options, I think it may be because the coach gets the error when I go to load him in the editor???

Can you help me please?
