You mean, for example, editing a coach by choosing their team (say Vikes or Seahawks) and choosing one of the coaches in that list to edit instead of the entire list of coaches, correct?

Does anyone know if 2.0 is going to be improved upon? Seems a waste to not give it a chance if the problems can be fixed.

Yes, you could use the total list to search for the coach but once he's found go to the team he's on to edit. Now if you edit a coach whose not on a team ( 0 years on contract ) change his listed team to FA before saving or that coach will end up on his old team. It's also easier to find the coach in the next step. Then use DB Editor to edit and change the coach's 1009 team ID to 1023. No coach should remain in FA the first season of Franchise let the AI put the coaches in FA season 2.

With players this method should be used too to prevent possible duplicate players.

Is there a place where all the acronyms are housed that are in the DB? Kinda new at the whole DB Editor thing and don't know which DB to look at.

Not quite all of them, but a healthy number of them are listed here: viewtopic.php?f=16&t=15373
