I am trying to convert my spreadsheet into the export PLAY file from Madden DB Editor v3.0 before I import it back. Could someone please tell me if PGID & POID need to be unique numbers from player to player? I'm pretty sure PGID is a player#, what is POID? What can I avoid with these two numbers to prevent future crashes?
What is PTAL, PICN & PJER? I created a few players and these were all 0s (zero) when I looked at the exported PLAY file. What is PCMT? This seems to be 1023 for most, but not all. What is PLHY? Most players are either -19 or -30. The player I created was -30.
What are PSKI & PCPH? I know one of them is skin color, but which one?
Last but not, the very last column has a number in DG2 cell that appears to be the total number of players on file, is that correct? Any other pitfalls I need to know about before I import this file back into the game?
Thanks in advance!

When I make a roster, I usually make the PGID and POID the same number. Obviously each player has to have a different number or it will crash the game. DB Editor comes with a definitions.def file, open it with notebook to view it.

PGID = Player ID#
POID = Player Original ID#
PSKI = Player Skin Color
PTAL = Player Tatoo Left
PTAR = Player Tatoo Right

Okay, I was able to edit all of the columns of the roster csv file then using Madden DB Editor 3 import it into the roster file (.ros). When I start a franchise and select Skip Training Camp it crashes, any ideas where to check for errors? Thank you!

Update: I fixed all depth charts on the roster file, then made all teams USER and tried to save it before selecting SKIP TRAINING CAMP, it crashed.

Check your coaches, you need four the HC, OC, DC and special teams coach.

Yes, there is an issue with coaches. I will fix. Is there something that triggers this so I can keep it from happening again?
