natureboy wrote:This is the most recent BETA and probably the most playable with a few caveats:

- Sim stats are broken. Specifically individual passing yards and touchdowns. I have tried everything to fix it and it is just not going to happen. Team stats seem to pan out pretty close to accurate or are active relevant to what is happening in the game

- Player overalls for running backs are going to have to be ignored a bit. While Derrick Henry shows up as a 78 overall, I do not believe he actually plays that way. If you look at the individual attributes of the lower rated players, they're fine. The HC 06 engine is wonky and RB's are the only major victims

- Player overalls for backup players are going to have to be as low as they are. I tried to adjust some of the backup QB's. If the game is unplayable with that, I'll try and do more to fix it. But I don't think it will be that big of an issue. Over time the game will generate better players through the draft classes the game has stored inside of it

- There are some glitches sometimes in terms of the game crashing. I recommend saving constantly. I have not found anything that persists and crashes the game but sometimes doing back to back games crashes it.

- Not all of the coach and player ratings are perfect but they're within the ballpark. That's going to be a constant WIP. We're talking about thousands of players and coaches so nothing is going to be 100%. I'll always work on players that seem off to people though

- FA and the draft is a crapshoot. Sometimes really idiotic stuff happens, sometimes it doesn't. There's only so much I can fix. Ultimately the game does what the game does

Overall, I'd recommend starting a career with these and seeing what you see. I'll update and try to fix what people find. I spent a solid 2 weeks on this and need a bit of a break.

How often did these crash? HC itself crashes if you play 2-3 games without the mod so I'm willing to bet these are fine. I edited some of it, and think these are as good as it gets without crashing. (Buffed few select coaches, QB overhaul, etc. Didn't mess with the weather, or team approval on positions) These will be the ones I use to start a career :D

Probably just the game mechanics but I did notice teams cutting players they wouldnt cut. I think its because of teams realization of cap troubles. Falcons dang near cut half their team when i played as the raiders.

I made the announcement for the release on r/Madden and pinned it! Nearly 150,000 people will see this! 8-) Also, made a OSF post so more people would be able to find it: https://forums.operationsports.com/foru ... -06-a.html

Now i'm off to swap the rosters of the Washington Football Team with some generic 08 cupcakes, and making them the STL Battlehawks! (is there a limit to how many free agents there can be? I don't want to delete their roster just make them free agents. Would i need to delete however many free agents as there are players for the WFT?)

If anyone wants to coach some cupcakes, I manually edited the giants as the Madden generated cupcake roster.

The draft was odd, but realistic to a degree. Teams only drafted a QB if they needed one, and none in the first 2 rounds. Lawrence fell to the Jets, Mac Jones to the Ravens who didn't resign Lamar Jackson (assuming high price). Haven't had any issues with it other than the black helmet glitch at the "College" stadium I imported, but I think that's a graphics issue because it's much wider than the rest of the stadiums.

Anyone know why the helmets are black? It's only at the stadium I imported, and the numbers on the front of the helmets load up fine. The players on the sidelines helmets are fine just not the actual players.

It's basically done, just a few graphics things that can be added down the road.

1. Download the mod on the first page

2. Download the DB Templates I posted above

3. Then download this UNIFORMS.dat: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1WGh6au ... xBAI3/view

4. Swap the UNI and DB templates that came with the mod for the ones you just downloaded

5. Profit

The draft does not work currently. All of the players are listed as "undefined", nothing shows up when you simulate past it, and you cannot select any of them during the actual draft.

Having the same problem with the draft. Started a new career with the new DB Templates and its undefined

I feel like this experiment might need its own thread, no offense.

And numerous people are still having draft issues.

Is the helmet black on the PLAY roster? You should have an original Career Roster loaded on the background. I had that issue before when I started modding it.

1. Load a default career game (from HC06) then exit.
2. Go to PLAY NOW and choose the team you want to play.
