ok but the sucking in 1988 was worth it took what 3 years? it took till 71 to fix the 61 team.

Actually, the Cowboys got quite a bit better in 1962, then they regressed in 1963, and then they started drafting Hall of Famers in 1964. The team started their 20 consecutive winning seasons in 1966, so that's how long it took.

What about 1989? (I know they did it on purpose)

Sorry, I meant 1989. 1989 is #53, with 88 at #52, and 61 at #51. And they didn't do it on purpose. They were truly awful.

A team isn't fixed until they win a ring.

That is not true at all. I consider 20 winning seasons an amazing feat.

Coming within one play of the Super Bowl in 1967 was pretty dang good. Give Dandy Don and the Doomsday Defense their due credit.

I do. Best franchise ever. The Steelers give a run but the Boys are better-coming from a gmen fan. But to be a fixed team you have to be the best one year.

I'm die hard Cowboys, but I would say the best franchise ever is Green Bay. You have to take into account the years before the Super Bowl.

I choose the best franchise ever by championships. NFL is Green Bay, MLB is the New York Yankees.
