how does Roger do it?
Re: how does Roger do it?
Also, I though the NZA editor was the DB editor? What is the db editor you are referring to?
Re: how does Roger do it?
Mike, as it turns out I have several of the editor programs that I downloaded from the Football Idiot page. One is the NZA Editor, the other 2 are DB Editor also called Madden DB Editor vers 1.3 and 3.0. I seem to recall there being some discussion that the 1.3 version was the better of the 2 options. Fewer bugs. It the Madden DB Editor the program you are referring to?

It's been a while but I remember NZA Madden 08 Editor 1.3 being better than the 2.0. For some reason the 2.0 always messed up my coaches. The 1.3 only messes up the first players PSKI value, it changes to 1.
I use Madden DB Editor 2.5, it was updated by Elguapo and works flawlessly for me. I assume you're probably using Windows 10 or 11, I have a dual boot computer Windows XP\11. I could never get Madden to install properly on anything other than Windows XP. I noticed the link to Elguapo's DB Editor 2019 is no longer working, so here's my copy of 2.5 See if it works for you, you may or may not have to run it in compatibility mode.
Re: how does Roger do it?
Thank you, Mike. FYI, I have Madden DB Editor ver 1.4 and 3.0. Don't know how I missed 2.5. Lol I also have something called MaddenAmp 3.5. Don't recall what it is for
Re: how does Roger do it?
Mike, I tried the DB Editor. I'm a novice here and don't know what files I am suppose to load. I tried a roster file ("ros") and received an error message. Could only find a couple of "db" files in the Madden folders and received the same error.

It should open .ros files with no problem, maybe there is something wrong with the roster file. Madden Amp is also a roster/franchise/depth chart/schedule editor.

Here is the message I get when I try to load a functioning roster file:
