NCAA rosters 2021,2020, and 2019

I have converted three rosters for use with the Heisman 14 and NCAA addon mods....

They are the current 2021 season as well as the two most recent seasons 2020 and 2019

Pretty much everything is done except some minor touch up stuff......

The final step that needs to be completed is bring all 126 teams from each season from 69 players to 55 players by changing the the team id TGID to 1019

I could do this myself but I am just going to release the lowest overall players and I thought someone might want to take on this task and so I am posting the csv so this can be done......

If you are interested please post up and I can give you some instructions on how to do this if you need it.....

The updated csv has all three seasons combined..... There are three columns in the csv that don't belong and are for sorting purpose's

The first column is the YEAR
The First TGID is the ultimate ncaa roster team id's
The Second TGID is a Heisman 14 roster Team id's
The Third TGID is a Heisman 14 AO Team id's

I feel that if you know how to work in excel then this should be simple and doesn't require any further explanation but in a nutshell if you delete the first column and two of the TGID columns plus the whatever data you don't need it is ready to be imported to a roster......

Here is every Heisman 14 roster I have 2004 to 2021..... Missing is the 2015 and 2016 seasons which I am working on.....

If I use the Heisman roster can I just import this into PLAY?

The csv's are set up to be imported in to the NCAA addon roster (ultimate NCAA roster)

Madden requires a maximum of 55 players per team and NCAA 14 can have 69 players per team.....

So each team needs to be reduced from 69 players to 55 players by releasing 14 players to the free agents so that the depth chart can be set

Here is a guide as to how many players can be in the depth chart at each position....

OB=3
HB=4
FB=3
WR=6
TE=3
OL=3 each
RE=3
LE=3
DT=5
ROLB=3
MLB=4
LOLB=3
CB=5
S=3 each
K=2
P=2

do you mean that i have to open amp and click import/export csv?

You import the csv with a db editor and then load the roster in the game and reorder the depth charts..... this is where the issue is..... There are too many players on each team and this corrupts the depth chart however if you bring the team to 55 players then the depth chart works fine....

Good work Rixter67r, I like the idea of removing the 14 lowest rated players per position off the teams. Those guys could be moved to the roster's Free Agent and Extra Free Agent pool of players. That way if anyone wanted to include them on a personal edition of the roster, they will have access to them and be able to assigned them to a team using one of the editors like NZA 2.0 without issue! But they would have to be selective on who gets moved to the free agent pools with there being a total over 1700 unused players, keeping within the Madden 08 limits!

Also the players per position you have totals over 60. I'd remove 2 FB, only have 1 P, 1 K, 2 SS, 2 FS, to slim the teams down to the 55 madden limit!

Alright I am just about finished completely preparing a 2019 Heisman 14 roster and AO roster..... This is a lot of work bringing the teams to 55 players and I have decided I don't want to do this and will not do anymore..... someone else indeed several people need to step up and do this part of preparing the roster so it can be played in Madden 08

The good news is I have rosters from 2003 to 2020 and plan on converting all of them.....

I also have some throwback seasons that will also be converted.....

Some bad news is I found a few errors in the Team id's of the csv's particularly in the 2021 csv posted in the first post..... this happened because there are three new teams in the 2021 csv than the others Charlotte, Coastal Carolina, etc.... but I have corrected these issues and also added the ability to easily import the csv to a Heisman 14 or AO roster.... I will post these soon

I am also going to put the rosters in an order that makes it easiest to remove players from each team and also am putting the team id of all players except kickers and punters as their KPW rating so when you need to pick up a player you can scroll over and see which team the player came from...

Yeah it seems to be big effort and multiple people should be doing it. I did d/l the first .cvs files. I will wait til you upload the corrected versions.

To get the teams to the 55, I am going to take the .cvs into Excel. Then create a 3 phase sort order. 1st by TGID (smallest to largest). 2nd by PPOS (smallest to largest). 3rd by POVR (largest to smallest). With that sort order, can remove the 14 lowest rated player's per position by team, and move them to a separate .cvs! It will take some time, being 126 teams to work on! But it is doable!

These files are the PLAY table that you import into the Ultimate NCAA .ros file. If you open a .ros file using any of the DB Editors, you can import these .cvs files into the roster to have the updated players! It's easy to import the .cvs into the .ros!

But just as Rixster67r mentioned, in order to play them in Madden, the teams have to be reduced to 55 players per team!

A while back I wrote a program to cut rosters to 55 players.

Break the csv into their separate team rosters and sort the ovr. The program will create roster with the top position ovrs. It's been a while since I looked through this program so please read the instructions and video carefully.
