I was actually running the game on Windows 7, I don't know if that had anything to do with it though.

We have theories that a recent Windows update has brought the penalty crashing to Windows 7. Calhoupe will be testing it soon to try to identify issues.

I think it is. When I re-installed Windows without the updates - and I resist until now, I dont have any problems with the penalties in the whole game.

If you don't plan on going online with that computer, it should work fine. I had this happen last year with Windows 10. I turned off penalties and it worked fine to offseason. I did have unfixable (by me) issues in the offseason - couldn't make it to next year (this year). So, I am now playing with the latest 2018-9 franchise file - working fine. Penalties are turned back on with no issues yet. If we don't get new Roster Franchise files next year (sigh) we will revisit the issue - save your files:)

New Post: Having problem with 49ers stadium. I have the new STADATA.dat 35,937 Kb and STADIUMS.dat 485,688 KB core files installed. I am showing that the team uses stadium #87.

The game crashes on opening to the stadium whenever the 49ers are the home team. I am guessing the stadium installation or files are the problem. Would putting the stadium back to Candlestick, then changing it again to Levi's fix it, or make matters worse. IE: needing to reinstall all the files.

What do you mean by "opening to the stadium"? Is it during stadium select screen or once you start the match where the 49ers are at home?

On my system when starting to play a new game, the screen goes dark for a moment, just before the screen shows the home stadium images. When I start the games with the 49ers at home, at Levi's Stadium, the screen goes dark at the same point, but it stays dark until the game dumbs me back into Windows five or six seconds later. I can sim the game, but this would be awkward if the 49ers play a playoff bound team at home.

Do you have the latest FF/FI Mod files? Nothing is wrong with Levi's in it.

Sadly I do; my next move was going to be reinstalling them. The files are still the same size as when installed but I guess that doesn't prove much (one zero now a one is still the same size file).

My Steelers connection is telling me that after the bye or week 8, the Steelers are going to Activate OLB Olasunkanmi Adeniyi to the 53 roster. I think WR Rogers could be placed on the PS.
