Randomizing a Roster?

Postby mitchelltrutitsky » Wed Aug 16, 2017 7:04 pm

Is it possible? Any tools out there?

I'm messing with the "Madden Roster Editor" from the MadMod-X pack and only found ways to redistribute individual stats but that's pretty much it.

I've never played Madden 08 before (only 25 and 17) and I like to sim 20 years into the future to see completely new teams. If there isn't a tool to help me do this, are there any options to simulate that I can use in the franchise mode? If so, can I export that roster to use in superstar mode or the "play now" in the menu?

Thanks.

You could create a Superstar...

Sim all his career...

convert the .sup in a .ros
start a franchise

will not take much time..
but you could see some freaking things
in the draft and FA by the CPU teams

you are able to sim 20 years in the future, export the roster, and begin a new franchise with that.

instructions are found on here somewhere. use the search thoroughly enough (the right keywords).

it gets a bit technical on how to do it, but it'll also give you some good global roster editing experience.

in short, you'd eventually be deleting, modifying things via spreadsheet/excel. it could take you 2-3 hours, which includes the most patience in locating the instructions on how to.

as for future risks of glitches, i've never followed through with this whole process so i couldnt tell you what you'd be running into.
My Corner (my threads): Includes tips for graphics, settings, screen resolution, sliders. Great roster resources from multi-platforms (converting/porting). 4GB patch for 64-bit processors.
