Okay, I thought it was less. I know you have to make sure they don't have contracts if you move them over to free Agents.

The file is is still in Pre-season and it has the correct pre-season schedule. Now, once you are in the Regular season, do the ff.

1). Save the file.
2). Open the franchise file in DB_Editor 3.0 and got SCHD table. You should see 268 entries and not 64.
3). Import the REGULAR SEASON schedule
4). Save and load the file in-game.

I am not at all familiar with the DB Editor. To import the file I click on the CSV button? When I do that and load the schedule file called DB_TEMPLATES.DAT.File00008 I get an error message and nothing seems to load.

I just did it, it works. Start the DB editor, load your franchise, take a look at the SCHD if you like to make sure you see 268 entries at the bottom.
Import/Load the Regular Season CSV and click save, you are done. Load your Franchise in Madden and you will see the correct schedule.

So I opened the SCHD table, and then clicked the CSV button. I then select the DB_TEMPLATES.DAT.File00008 and I get an error message and the DB Editor just freezes and says progress. Am I doing something wrong?

DB_Templates.dat.file00008 should be installed in the DB_Templates for New franchises not in this current franchise file. Use the regular season schedule instead.

Ah ok, finally got it all to work. I am assuming at this stage there is no way to integrate the Stub Hub Center into this file and relocate the Chargers?

You can.

1)Open it in DB_Editor 3.0.
2)Go to TEAM table and on line 7, change SGID from 7 to 94.
3)You can also change TLNA to Los Angeles.
4)Save.
5)Load the franchise.

Note:

This franchise will crash it you play it very far. The main reason I found was that six players were on teams but had 0 as their salary.

Not a complaint - I am waiting for the next version anyway.

You have to adjust the roster on each team and ensure all positions are filled for one

I always use an editor to clean up the rosters values to my liking.

Just pointing out to those not used to using an editor that all the teams were filled - which you don't always see in first releases - however 6 players which were on the download franchise teams did not have salaries despite being on a team. You can not adjust that in the game, it will crash - you HAVE to use an editor to fix this.

I go through every team to make sure all positions are filled correctly, too many MLB's for example with and without the editor, too many Free Agents can cause crashes and Free Agents with Salaries also.

Because during the time of its release, they still dont have the salary disclosed at the moment. Be careful also when you use an external editor when changing teams, some players from the reserve dont have contracts yet. This franchise file is for one season only, going far entails advanced knowledge in using editors and csvs.

You can use the roster version since it is newbie friendly.
